Under the chairmanship of Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, a meeting of the District Level Core Committee was held in the Collectorate’s meeting hall today. In the meeting, the Collector reviewed the status of Kovid-19 in the district. He said that continuous testing was done for effective prevention of Kovid 19. Apart from this, motivate people to constantly apply masks, sanitize hands and maintain social distancing. He said that some concessions have been given during the lockdown in the district. The Collector said in the meeting that in such areas of the district where more cases of corona are coming, investigation and contact tracing should be done in those areas. SDM Shri Dinesh Kumar Nag, Deputy Collector Shri Gaurishankar Nag, Vaibhav Kshetragya, Ms. Nidhi Sahu, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. A.R. Gota, Civil Surgeon Dr MK Suryavanshi and other officials were present.
Collector Dharmesh Kumar Sahu said that it should be ensured that people above 45 years of age get 100 percent vaccination. In the meeting, he inquired about the patients with Containment Zone Home-Isolation in the district. The Collector said that the shopkeepers should get their vaccination done by taking information about the workers working in them, their family members who are more than 45 years old. Apart from this, emphasis was also laid on getting vaccination of those selling vegetables etc. Told that permission has been given to operate shops for the convenience of the people. For this, the operators should ensure that there is no overcrowding and people should follow the Kovid protocol. Be sure to monitor the concerned officials. Along with this, make sure to take challan action against people without masks and not following the guidelines issued by the government. In the meeting, CMHO Dr Gota informed that detailed information was given about the total cases of Kovid-19 in the district, those living in home isolation, arrangements of Kovid Care Center, vaccination, availability of medicines, oxygen cylinder etc. It was informed in the meeting that camps have also been set up in Narayanpur Nagari Kshetra wards to vaccinate people above 45 years of age. In the task force meeting, the collector said that the people coming and going from outside were checked at the checkpost.

Discussion held in district level forest rights committee meeting
District level forest rights committee meeting was held on Tuesday 02 February under the chairmanship of Collector Shri Jayaprakash Maurya, in which forest rights recognition letter, so far approved and distributed, claims received from section level, community forest resource recognition letter to gram sabhas of core area Various agendas including claims received regarding supply were discussed. In the meeting held at four o’clock in the collectorate meeting room, the collector instructed to consider all the claims received as per rules and provisions. Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Smt Reshma Khan informed about the applications received and their status in the meeting, which was discussed positively by officials and committee members. He informed that a total of 1845 applications of Community Forest Rights recognition letter have been received, out of which one lakh 59 thousand 013 hectare area has been distributed to all applicants. Similarly, out of total six applications of Community Forest Resource Rights recognition letter, 9948 hectare plot has been distributed as per provision. The Assistant Commissioner also informed that district level committee has received applications for new 11 of individual forest rights, 35 for reconsideration, 17 for community and 101 for community forest resource. DFO Smt Satovisha Samajdar, Deputy Director Udanti Sitanadi Tiger Reserve, Mr Ayush Jain were present in the meeting. With all .
