Bhupesh Baghel has said that in order to ensure easy access to health and medical facilities to the common people, it is necessary that all district hospitals and block level hospitals of the state should be made fully equipped. For this, he has instructed the Chief Secretary to prepare an action plan through all the district collectors within 15 days.
The Chief Minister has said that in the last 6 months, with a view to strengthen the arrangements for treatment of corona, oxygen related equipment ICU has been provided in these hospitals. There has been a significant increase in the number of beds, ventilators etc. Better maintenance and frequent use of these health equipment is also essential to prepare for a possible third wave of corona. The number of doctors in community health centers has also increased significantly in the last few days, but health management needs to be strengthened further.
Shri Baghel has said that a plan should be prepared soon for the development of all district hospitals and community health centers in the state. Under this scheme, all the above hospitals have well equipped operation room, labor room, laboratory, ICU. And arrangements should be made to provide facilities like ventilator facility, blood bank, free medicine etc. The Chief Minister said that all these hospitals should have 24-hour treatment facilities. Along with this, efforts should be made to provide post graduate doctors of Pediatrics, Gynecology, Anesthesia, Pathology, Medicine and Surgery in all and where post graduates are not available, arrangements should be made for doctors trained in these subjects. The Chief Minister has instructed to submit the proposal as above, including the required budget, in 15 days through the collectors.

Civil surgeon cum hospital superintendent Dr. AS Manjhi told here today that even in the district hospital Mungeli, the patients are cured by operating complex diseases. Post Kovid OPD started in district hospital, duty of specialist doctors
Post-Kovid OPD operation has started in the district hospital for counseling and treatment related to mental health problems like depression, restlessness, insomnia etc. of Kovid-19 patients. The said OPD will be open every day except holidays.

Turre told that Principal Secretary Health Dr. Alok Shukla had written a letter to all the collectors of the state that at present it is seen that some patients have difficulty breathing after being discharged after treatment of Kovid-19 patients. Symptoms like fatigue, weakness, sleepiness are being reflected. Apart from this, cases of mucarmycosis (black fungus) are also being found in the corona patients who have recovered in the last few days in the state. In view of these conditions, Principal Secretary Health gave instructions to take regular follow-up of patients recovering from Kovid-19 and to start post Kovid OPD in each district hospital for the treatment of these symptoms. He said that the services of Physiotherapists along with Medicine, Eye and ENT specialists have been ensured under Post Kovid OPD in the District Hospital in compliance with the instructions of the State Government. Successful organization of voluntary blood donation camp on World AIDS Day
On 01 December, on the occasion of “World AIDS Day”, HIV / AIDS Safety and Rescue Counseling Camp and Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized at District Hospital Gariaband. The main objective of the camp is to make people aware of HIV / AIDS protection and safety. The theme of World AIDS Day 2020 is “Global Solidarity – Shared Responsibility” and to emphasize the importance of regular voluntary blood donation by eligible blood donors to facilitate blood collection in the district and to meet the needs of the needy. Blood donation was done by a total of 11 blood donors in the blood donation camp, in which blood donation was done by Dr. Jai Patel, MD Medicine, Dr. Prashant Ratray Medical Officer, nursing college students and other donors.
