The digital radio service, named Bihar Krishi Radio, is available for download on the Play Store and App Store. Designed with farmers’ needs in mind, the application aims to provide timely and accurate information, including weather forecasts, crop disease management, agricultural schemes, market prices, and mandi conditions.

The system’s key features include AI-based analysis that studies data related to weather, soil, and markets to provide quick information to farmers. The radio service will be available in regional languages, ensuring easy understanding. It will also be available 24/7 and offer interactive features, allowing farmers to get direct answers to their questions from the AI system.

Farmers will benefit from this radio service in numerous ways. They will receive timely and precise weather information, aiding in crop protection. Prompt advice on pest and disease management will reduce losses, and updated market price information will enable farmers to obtain better value for their produce. Furthermore, direct access to information on government schemes and subsidies will enable them to take advantage of these opportunities promptly.

The Deputy Chief Minister expressed confidence that the AI-based agricultural radio broadcasting system would bring an information revolution to the agricultural world. He stated that this initiative would play a vital role in connecting farmers with modern technology, increasing their yield, and making farming more profitable.
