Regarding bird flu, Dr. Dharmendra Dhevai said that at present there is an outbreak of bird plume in some states of the country. There is an outbreak of bird flu in the areas near Chhattisgarh. Due to this, the state will also issue guidelines as a precautionary measure. While doing special surveillance, it is necessary to keep in mind that there are no cases of bird flu in Raipur. Guidelines will also be issued for how people should be cautious about bird flu.
Doctor Sanjay Jain said that this disease is spread only by birds that come from other states. The department has already been alerted for this. Surveillance continues. All the laboratories and hospitals of all the states are showing readiness for their respective works. Anytime such a situation occurs, such symptoms appear, then the birds are immediately placed in polythene and kept in the refrigerator and sent directly to laboratories. Having bird flu will be a matter of concern. Commercially, there will be a lot of impact for the poultry farmers. If a person sees symptoms of bird flu or any dead bird, then they should be immediately reported to the doctor or laboratory of the veterinary department.
