  • Representatives of various social organizations and institutions met the Chief Minister

    Representatives of various social organizations and institutions paid courtesy visit to Bhupesh Baghel at the circuit house of district headquarters Narayanpur today. During the meeting, the Chief Minister tested their demands and convinced them to take necessary action as per rules. During this, representatives of various societies welcomed the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel on his arrival at Narayanpur and thanked him for the gift of various development works.

  • Office of SCW to be shifted to SEC premises

    The office of State Commission for Women (SCW) located at Jal Vihar Colony will be shifted to the office of the State Election Commission (SEC) located near Shastri Chowk, Raipur soon. SCW Chairperson Kiranmayi Nayak inspected the office of the State Election Commission on Friday. Keeping in view the lack of space for hearing of case, Chairperson Kiranmayi Nayak had requested Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel to allot one of the vacant buildings in the state to the SCW. The present building of the SCW is a rented building. The office of the State Election Commission, which has been shifted to Nava Raipur, should be allotted to the SCW. On the request of Kiranmayi Nayak, the Chief Minister has directed the officers to allott 14 rooms of the State Election Commission office at Shastri Chowk to the SCW. This office is located on main route and it is easily accessible to the people. State Election Commissioner Thakur Ram Singh, Abhay Dewangan, advocate Shamim Rahman, Vinod Nayak and others were present on the occasion.
