As second-line defenders, police nabbed 576 intruders and 102 touts at borders in 2025. Cyber defenses are ramping up with station upgrades. Recruitment surges: 953 constables (318 female) onboard, 916 more and 218 SIs approved soon. The gathering drew top police and administrative brass.
