In a candid rebuttal, Bollywood funnyman Rajpal Yadav has called out social media falsehoods alleging he wept before a judge over financial distress. Speaking exclusively, the actor labeled the reports as outright lies designed to mislead.

These narratives, he said, stem from misguided sympathizers and opportunists mangling facts on the internet. ‘Some well-wishers are circulating them, but mostly it’s people clueless about the case running their agendas,’ Rajpal explained. He appealed to fans: ‘I respect all, but ignore these rumors.’

Reflecting on his image, Rajpal noted, ‘My face has always symbolized happiness and will continue to do so. It should only evoke laughter.’ This comes as he navigates personal challenges with dignity.

Support from the film fraternity has been a silver lining, with many rallying around him quietly, away from viral spotlights. Above all, his family’s constant encouragement fuels his resilience.

Contextually, this follows Delhi High Court’s interim bail in a cheque bounce matter, allowing participation in family events till March 18. A Rs 1.5 crore draft was deposited, passport surrendered, with proceedings resuming then.

Celebrated for comic gems like Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Rajpal remains focused on legal compliance and a joyful life, undeterred by online chatter.

Leaked private chats have thrust Rahul Mamkootathil into deeper legal jeopardy during today’s riveting court hearing. The messages, brimming with controversial content, were dramatically unveiled, prompting gasps in the courtroom.

Sources close to the case reveal the conversations allegedly show Mamkootathil coordinating sensitive matters that contradict his public statements. This bombshell evidence has shifted the trial’s momentum squarely against him.

Responding swiftly, Mamkootathil’s advocates challenged the chats’ chain of custody, accusing authorities of tampering. They demanded expert testimony to debunk the digital trail.

The prosecution, buoyed by the leak, argued the chats provide irrefutable proof of intent, urging the bench to incorporate them into the record without delay.

Background on the case highlights Mamkootathil’s entanglement in [specific allegations], where prior testimonies painted a complex picture. Today’s events mark a pivotal escalation.

Observers note the leak’s timing coincides with mounting political pressure, raising questions about motives. Will the courts cut through the noise to deliver verdict based on facts?

The life of 83-year-old Jageshwar Prasad Avadhia from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was irrevocably altered by a false accusation. The charge of accepting a ₹100 bribe in 1986 robbed him of his…

The life of 83-year-old Jageshwar Prasad Avadhia from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, was irrevocably altered by a false accusation. The charge of accepting a ₹100 bribe in 1986 robbed him of his job, family, and respect. Now, after 39 years, the High Court has completely acquitted him. However, the delay in receiving justice has caused irreparable damage to his life. Avadhia is now seeking outstanding pension and financial assistance from the government to spend his remaining days in peace.

The incident dates back to 1986 when Jageshwar Prasad was working as a bill assistant at the Raipur office of the Madhya Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (MPSRTC). An employee, Ashok Kumar Verma, pressured him to pass his pending bill. Jageshwar refused, citing regulations. The following day, Verma attempted to bribe him with ₹20, but Jageshwar returned the notes.

On October 24, 1986, Verma forcibly shoved ₹100 (two ₹50 notes) into his pocket. The vigilance team then raided and arrested him. Jageshwar maintained this was a pre-planned conspiracy. At the time of the arrest, his hands were washed with chemicals, and the notes were presented as evidence. Despite this, Jageshwar repeatedly proclaimed his innocence.

Following the incident, Jageshwar’s life went off track. He was suspended from 1988 to 1994, and then transferred to Rewa. His salary was halved, and promotions and increments were halted. His family of four children faced financial hardship. Jageshwar recalls that it was difficult to manage the household with a salary of ₹2,500. He couldn’t pay his children’s fees, and their education was disrupted.

His wife remained under constant stress and eventually passed away. His younger son, Neeraj Avadhia, who was 12 years old at the time, says, “Society ostracized us by calling us the family of a bribe-taker.” Neighbors distanced themselves, and children at school didn’t talk to him. He was expelled from school multiple times for not paying fees. Neeraj completed his MA privately, but couldn’t marry due to financial constraints. Now, at the age of 50, he is struggling with health problems, and the family depends on government rations.

After retirement, Jageshwar did not receive a pension. He worked as a watchman and did odd jobs to make ends meet. In the eyes of society, his image transformed from an honest employee to a bribe-taker.

In 2004, the trial court convicted Jageshwar under the Prevention of Corruption Act, sentencing him to one year in prison and a fine of ₹1,000. However, he did not give up and appealed to the High Court. The bench of Justice B.D. Guru recently ruled that the prosecution failed to present solid evidence of demanding or accepting a bribe. The witnesses, documents, and circumstantial evidence were insufficient. The court overturned the trial court’s decision, highlighting the differences between the 1947 and 1988 corruption laws. After 39 years, Jageshwar was declared innocent.

Now residing in a 90-year-old ancestral home in Avadhia Para, Raipur, Jageshwar is exhausted. The files of documents in his home’s cupboard are the witnesses to his long battle. He says, “Justice was served, but at what cost? My family is ruined.” He hopes to receive the outstanding pension and the money for his suspension period so that his remaining days can pass without hardship. Neeraj adds, “My father’s name is cleared, but our childhood and youth cannot be returned. We appeal to the government to compensate for this injustice.”

This case highlights the adverse consequences of delays in the judicial process. Experts say that victims in such cases need to be compensated and ensured swift justice. Jageshwar’s story serves as a warning of how a false accusation can devastate an entire life.

In Sitamarhi, Bihar, a man’s attempt to deceive the court backfired when he presented a forged document to protect his son. The individual, named Rahman Mian, provided a fraudulent school transfer certificate to the court, falsely claiming his son was a minor. He also submitted an affidavit supporting this claim. However, the Juvenile Justice Board exposed the certificate as fake.

The board subsequently ordered an FIR against Rahman Mian. The incident stems from a case in which Rahman’s son, Firoz, is implicated, with an FIR filed at the Mahila Thana, Sitamarhi. Rahman, a resident of Bhulli in the Parsauni police station area, attempted to use the forged certificate to portray his son as underage.

Following the Juvenile Justice Board’s directive, the FIR has been registered. The board determined the school transfer certificate to be fabricated. The board’s decision was based on the evidence and facts that emerged during the proceedings. A clerk filed the FIR at the Dumra police station based on the board’s order.

The recent FIR names Rahman Mian as the accused. He presented a school transfer certificate purporting to be from the middle school of Parsauni block to establish his son’s minority. However, the headmaster of the middle school testified before the board, revealing the truth. The headmaster clarified that Firoz was never enrolled in their school and that the certificate presented by Firoz’s father was entirely fabricated and not issued by the school.

In Ranchi, Jharkhand, three individuals have been sentenced to life imprisonment in the high-profile murder case of land dealer Kamal Bhushan, who was gunned down on May 30, 2022, in the Sukhdev Nagar police station area. The incident occurred on Devi Mandap Road, where Bhushan was fatally shot. The court also imposed a fine on the convicted individuals, who include W. Kujur, Bhushan’s former business partner, his son Rahul Kujur, and Kavis Adnan. The court of Additional Judge Anand Prakash of the Ranchi Civil Court found the three accused guilty and imposed the life sentence. Each of them was also fined ₹15,000. Failure to pay the fine will result in an additional six months of imprisonment. Two other accused, Sushila Kujur and the government witness Munwar Afaq, were acquitted due to lack of evidence. The murder took place near the busy Piska More Chowk, as Bhushan was about to get into his car after meeting with his lawyer. The strained relationship between Bhushan and the Kujur family stemmed from the love marriage of his daughter Yamini to Rahul Kujur, W. Kujur’s son, which Bhushan disapproved of.

A shocking incident has come to light in Korba, Chhattisgarh. An arrest warrant was issued for a man who had passed away 18 months prior. This event highlights serious negligence in legal and police procedures.

The case involves a man named Dilip Dubey, a resident of MP Nagar, Korba. He died on January 31, 2024. Despite this, the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court issued an arrest warrant in his name on September 19, 2024. The warrant instructed his arrest for failing to appear as a witness in court in a certain case.

Dubey’s family members say that the police never sent them a summons in this matter and directly arrived at their home with an arrest warrant. The case is related to an incident where a young man assaulted their son, and a report was filed at the Rampur police station. In this case, the police had made Dilip Dubey and his wife witnesses. The family is now making rounds of the court to get the warrant canceled. This incident raises serious questions about the functioning of police and judicial officials. No statement has yet been issued by any official on this matter.

The date of December 24, 2022, is etched in the memory of the people of Korba, Chhattisgarh. A young woman was brutally murdered. Sahban Khan, a 30-year-old bus conductor from Ahmedabad, driven by suspicion of his 20-year-old girlfriend’s infidelity, committed a heinous act. He raped her and then inflicted 51 stab wounds to her chest with a screwdriver. The district court has now sentenced the perpetrator to life imprisonment.

Khan had traveled to Jaipur from Ahmedabad. He worked as a conductor for the Chisti Bus Service, which operated between Jaipur and Korba. It was during this time that he met the young woman, who was studying in the Madanpur area and frequently traveled by bus. Their friendship blossomed into a relationship, and Khan even planned to marry her. However, the situation took a dark turn when the woman began communicating with another man. Enraged, Khan repeatedly tried to stop her and even threatened her mother, warning that he would harm both of them if she didn’t stop her daughter.

Khan, consumed by suspicion, plotted the murder. On December 24, 2022, he flew from Ahmedabad to Raipur and then traveled to Korba. After staying at Hotel Salim, he went to his girlfriend’s house. A heated argument ensued, leading Khan to rape her and then repeatedly stab her in the chest with a screwdriver. No one was present in the house at the time of the attack. The woman died at the scene.

Her brother found her body covered in blood and alerted the police. During the investigation, blood-stained shoes, a shirt, earphones, and a condom packet were recovered from the scene. Given the sensitive nature of the case, the police sought assistance from the cyber cell. After approximately one and a half months of investigation, the accused was arrested in Gujarat and brought to Korba. During questioning, Khan confessed to his crime.

The Special Judge of the District Court, Jaideep Garg, found Sahban Khan guilty. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment and imposed a fine of 75,000 rupees. It was also ordered that he would have to serve an additional 18 months in jail if he failed to pay the fine.

A man in Rajasthan has been sentenced to death for attacking his wife with acid, leading to her death. The man, identified as Kishan, repeatedly taunted his wife, Laxmi, about her dark complexion and weight. Their relationship was marked by frequent physical altercations stemming from these issues. On the night of the attack, Kishan claimed to have brought medicine for Laxmi and applied it to her body. Laxmi, however, complained about an acidic smell. Ignoring her concerns, Kishan then lit an incense stick near her stomach, which caused her body to ignite. As she burned, he poured the remaining substance on her, ultimately resulting in her death. A case was filed against Kishan at the Vallabhnagar police station in Udaipur, and he was brought before the Additional District Judge Court. The public prosecutor highlighted that the victim was targeted due to her complexion. The judge, while delivering the verdict, emphasized the need to uphold societal fear of courts and handed down the death penalty.
