  • On the death of Corona, the Social Welfare Department gave compassionate appointment in a month

    Bhupesh Baghel has instructed the officers to provide immediate compassionate appointment to the dependents of government employees who died due to corona infection as per rules. Following this heartfelt decision of Mr. Baghel, the departments have immediately started the work of providing relief to the families of the victims. After the sudden demise of Shri Manoj Kumar Dagor, working as a peon in Government sheltered workshop of Bilaspur under Social Welfare Department, the department has given compassionate appointment to his son Shri Vishal Dagor within a month. Vishal Dagor and his family members have expressed their gratitude to the state government for taking prompt action on the cases of compassionate appointment by the department.
    It is noteworthy that Shri Manoj Kumar Dagor died on 23 May last from Corona. After this, his son Shri Vishal Dagor submitted an application for grant of compassionate appointment on 31st May, on which taking immediate action, the department has given him compassionate appointment on 29th June on the post of Assistant Grade-3. Even before this, the department has provided compassionate appointment to Mr. Sushildhar Dewan posted in Mungeli on the post of Assistant Grade-3 on June 3, within one and a half months, to his son Mr. Saurabh Dewan after his death from Corona on 16 April 2021.

Three members of the crew aboard the plane have suffered injuries, have been admitted to the Jairogya Hospital and are undergoing treatment.

    According to local officials, the six-seater aircraft of the state government has overturned on the runway on Thursday night after a technical glitch. The crew members were injured in the accident. The officer concerned is investigating how the accident happened. It has been told that this aircraft also had boxes of injections to be sent to Jabalpur and now arrangements are being made to send the boxes of these injections there.
