Later, Musk hinted at a possible truce in response to a post by American Fund Manager Bill Ackman. Ackman stated, “I support @realDonaldTrump and @elonmusk and they should make peace for the benefit of our great country. We are much stronger together than apart.” Musk responded, “You’s are not wrong.”

Trump and Musk clashed over recent legislation, leading to sharp criticisms and accusations on social media platforms.

This dispute escalated when Musk made explosive allegations concerning Trump’s ties to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, marking a significant intensification of their personal conflict. The feud between the two men got nastier, less than a week after Musk officially left his position spearheading the quasi-official Department of Government Efficiency.

US Vice President JD Vance publicly supported Trump during the public dispute.

Vance posted on X, “President Trump has done more than any person in my lifetime to earn the trust of the movement he leads. I’m proud to stand beside him.”
