  • Singer Bebe Rexha says she’s OK after fan throws phone at her on stage

    By Associated Press

NEW YORK: Pop star Bebe Rexha was hit in the face and injured by a cellphone hurled from the audience at a hometown show in New York City Sunday night, and a man was arrested, police said.

The Grammy-nominated, multiplatinum-selling singer-songwriter was taken to a hospital after the phone hit her, police said. A bruise and a bandage were visible above her left eye in social media posts she made on Monday.

“I’m good, yeah, I’m feelin’ alright,” she sang in a TikTok video, taking a line from “I’m Good (Blue),” her recent hit with DJ David Guetta.

Rexha, 33, was on stage at Pier 17, a rooftop venue in Manhattan, when the phone was thrown, police said. Videos posted on social media showed the phone ricocheting off the artist’s head, and then Rexha grabbing her face and sinking to her knees.

Nicolas Malvagna, 27, of New Jersey, was released without bail after being arraigned Monday on assault, aggravated harassment and other charges. Each is either a misdemeanour or a violation.

According to a court complaint, Malvagna told a third party he tried to hit Rexha with the phone at the end of the show because he thought “it would be funny.”

A message seeking comment was sent to his attorney.

A three-time Grammy nominee, Rexha is known for such hits as “I’m Good (Blue),” “Meant to Be,” featuring country’s Florida Georgia Line, and “I Got You.” Raised in New York, she was a songwriter for other artists before becoming a solo star.

“What I’m learning is that not everybody is going to connect with you and understand you, and that’s OK,” she told The Associated Press in April, shortly before the release of her latest album, “Bebe.”

“And I feel like you have to just be your realest, truest version of yourself because, at the end of the day, if you try to change yourself to be liked by other people, you’re not really being yourself,” she added.

She is next scheduled to perform in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

  • Adam Levine’s wife supports him at concert in Las Vegas amid cheating scandal

    By ANI

LAS VEGAS: Adam Levine’s wife Behati Prinsloo was seen supporting her husband at his recent concert amid all the allegations of cheating levelled against him by several women.

According to Page Six, Maroon 5 performed live in Las Vegas where his wife Behati was spotted backstage.

This was Levine’s first public appearance since the accusations of him cheating on his pregnant wife and sending flirtatious messages to various women via Instagram DMs.

Over the weekend, Levine performed at the MGM Grand Hotel as part of Shaquille O’Neal’s charity gala. The Event was attended by stars such as Rob Gronkowski, Camille Kostek, Logan Paul, and Flavor Flav.

According to Page Six, O’Neal, who had previously praised Levine during the scandal, publicly backed the embattled singer during his speech at the event. “Adam is a friend of mine from [a long] time ago. I always say to myself, you know, I cannot be a hypocrite,” he said.

He added, “Now, I wasn’t the greatest husband in the world, so just because I have a large platform right now doesn’t give me the right to bash other people. He’s great, he’s doing something for the children, he’s always been like that. I’m happy for him. And I wish him luck.”

Page Six reports that the former Los Angeles Lakers player was referring to recent allegations made by model Sumner Stroh, who, along with several other women, accused Levine of sending inappropriate and flirtatious Instagram direct messages.

An Instagram influencer named Sumner Stroh recently posted a TikTok video alleging that she and Adam were having an affair. However, she did not mention when she was precisely dating the singer.

She also shared a screenshot of an Instagram DM that Adam allegedly sent her after she “stopped talking to him over a period of months.”

“At the time I was young, I was naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated,” she claimed.

The news came a week after Adam and his wife Behati Prinsloo, who is Victoria’s Secret model, announced that they are expecting their third child.
