  • During the corona transition, the soldiers of Chhattisgarh Police and Para Military Forces did incomparable work – Chief Minister Mr. Baghe

Bhupesh Baghel attended the New Year program organized for police personnel at Police Parade Ground here today. He also had a meal with soldiers of various security forces. On this occasion, Mr. Baghel while wishing the policemen and the soldiers of the paramilitary forces New Year, said that this is the first program with the policemen and the personnel of the paramilitary forces as the Chief Minister but not the last. I will keep on meeting you even further.

Just as farmers fill our stomach by producing food in the field, similarly our security personnel are engaged in our protection day and night. The contribution of both farmer and jawan is incredible. Mr. Baghel reiterated the slogan Jai Jawan-Jai Kisan given by former Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri. He said that our soldiers in the Naxalite region are full of courage and bravery. The police is acting in a very balanced manner. It is the quality of our police to work in restraint even under stress. Mr. Baghel said that having the national symbol of India in the police cap shows your uniqueness. It is also your responsibility to maintain its dignity. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh Police and paramilitary forces personnel are working with great courage and sensitivity to end the Naxalite problem. This is the reason why not even once in the last two years, human rights organizations have complained. In the last two years, our soldiers have won the trust of tribals. The basic function of the police is to control crime. Community policing has taken place in the last two years. Now policing seems to happen.
