In a timely clarification, Maharashtra Home Minister Yogesh Kadam addressed rising concerns over LPG availability following the Centre’s order to suspend commercial gas supplies. He assured the public that domestic users—millions of households relying on cooking gas—face zero disruptions.

During an interview, Kadam laid out the facts: “Commercial operations are paused across the country per government instructions. But for home use, everything runs smoothly. Stocks are plentiful; panic is unnecessary. Your LPG cylinders will keep coming without a hitch.”

Turning to global realities, he noted the Middle East war’s impact on energy markets. “We must be prudent with usage now,” Kadam cautioned. “No wastage—conserve to ensure long-term availability.” Despite international strains, he affirmed India’s supply lines hold firm.

The minister lauded PM Narendra Modi’s leadership in foreign affairs. “Modi ji has put India on the map like never before,” Kadam said. “His personal rapport with world leaders secures our needs. Even with Iran tensions, supplies pour in—we saw a huge oil tanker arrive just recently.”

This diplomatic edge, Kadam argued, delivers tangible gains. “PM Modi’s unmatched global standing benefits every Indian today,” he added. “In these challenging times, his vision keeps our kitchens fueled and our nation strong. Consumers: stay calm, use wisely, and trust the system.”

Kadam’s words aim to quell hoarding fears, promoting responsible consumption amid geopolitical headwinds.
