Binita Khumukcham not only secured first division but also bagged a special letter mark in Computer Science, all while writing her papers with her feet.

The COHSEM announced the HSE 2026 results on April 20, marking a successful year with 92.23% pass rate. Out of 31,259 examinees, Science stream shone brightest at 93.28%, Arts at 89.87%, and Commerce at 82.57%. Exams spanned February 17 to March 4.

Hailing from a humble family where her father operates a grocery shop, Binita’s success at Jiribam Higher Secondary School is a testament to her unyielding spirit. In an exclusive interview, she shared plans to continue in Commerce and build a thriving business empire.
