  • Kat celebrates Retail Democracy Day in protest against foreign e-commerce companies

    The Confederation of All India Traders Association (CAT) has opened a front against foreign e-commerce companies. CAT celebrated Retail Democracy Day against these companies on Tuesday. CAT’s national vice-president Amar Parvani and state executive president Vikram Singhdev said that FDI policies and laws are constantly being violated in India’s e-commerce and retail business by e-commerce companies funded by foreign or foreign investment.

    Due to this, business organizations associated with CAT have submitted a memorandum in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the district collectors in 514 districts of the country along with Chhattisgarh. He said that in this memorandum it has been said that a separate e-commerce policy should be set up for the planned operation of e-commerce in the country. Also, an e-Commerce Regulatory Authority should also be set up. CAT has also said in the memorandum that the vocals for local and self-reliant should be adopted at the ground level.

  • Now collectors will get minimum support price of 52 minor forest produce

    According to the information received by the Office of the Managing Director, District Union South Kondagaon, the minimum support price of 14 additional minor forest produce has been declared by the Government of Chhattisgarh as per the instructions of the Honorable Chief Minister. In the past, 38 minor forest produce were being purchased at the minimum support price. In this way, now the minimum support price has been announced for the purchase of 52 minor forest produce in total. As a result, District Forest Produce Cooperative Union Marya. Through the South Kondagaon Forest Division, the work of purchasing minor forest produce at the minimum support price fixed by the Government of Chhattisgarh through 05 Forest Development Centers, 31 Haat Markets and 155 Village Level Groups has been started. In this regard, the list of minimum support price fixed by the Government of Chhattisgarh is available in all the Vandhan Vikas Kendras, Haat Markets and village level collection centers. Managing Director District Union South Kondagaon has appealed to all the villagers and collectors of the area to sell forest produce collected at minimum support price fixed by the Chhattisgarh government and to take maximum advantage of the government’s ambitious plan.

  • Aadhaar seeding of registered members in ration cards till 31 December

    The state government has fixed the deadline for Aadhaar seeding of members of the ration card holder families of the state till December 31, 2020. Aadhaar seeding of registered members is being done in the ration cards prevalent in the state for starting the One Nation One Ration Card scheme in Chhattisgarh. The Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has sent a letter to all collectors of the state asking them to link the Aadhaar number of all ration card holders to the ration card by 31 December.

  • Registration of farmers for paddy purchase is now till November 17

    In view of the facilities of the farmers, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has extended the registration period of farmers for purchase of paddy in Kharif marketing year 2020-21 to 17 November 2020. The order has been issued by the state government on the instructions of the Chief Minister. The Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection has sent instructions to all the divisional commissioners, all collectors and registrars, cooperatives and managing director, APEX Bank Naya Raipur, to send a copy of the order and register the farmers by November 17. Earlier, the last date of registration of farmers was set till 10 November 2020.
