The Central Government, through its Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has initiated a major program to strengthen education for tribal students. A collaboration between the Ministry and Coal India Limited will enhance 68 Eklavya Model Residential Schools, impacting the lives of approximately 28,000 students. This initiative aims to provide better educational opportunities, improve health, and foster self-reliance among tribal children. The program will utilize resources to establish computer labs, provide digital learning tools like computers and tablets (3200 computers and 300 tablets), and implement health and hygiene facilities, including sanitary napkin vending machines and incinerators.
