Political activity is intensifying in Bihar ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Political parties are actively strategizing and forming alliances. The ruling NDA (National Democratic Alliance) is currently holding NDA workers’ conferences in various districts. However, these conferences have been marred by controversies. In the latest incident, a conference in Muzaffarpur witnessed a violent clash. Supporters of Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Prabhat Kiran and former Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) candidate Komal Singh engaged in a physical altercation, with chairs being thrown and numerous individuals injured.

The NDA workers’ conference was taking place on Thursday at Jarang High School in the Gaighat block of Muzaffarpur, when the incident occurred. Supporters of the two NDA allies clashed during the meeting. The conflict involved supporters of Janata Dal United (JDU) leader Prabhat Kiran and former Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) candidate Komal Singh. Prabhat Kiran is the son of former JDU MLA Maheshwar Yadav.

Following the physical clash, chairs were thrown. The altercation escalated into a violent clash. Both sides engaged in physical fighting, and supporters began throwing chairs at each other. Consequently, several chairs were broken. At least 12 people were injured in the violent clash.

It is reported that the ruckus at the NDA workers’ conference started when a leader made offensive remarks from the stage, which angered the workers present. The enraged workers first started throwing chairs and then began breaking them, leading to chaos at the conference venue.

Following the incident, the workers at the conference started shouting slogans like “Remove outsiders, save Gaighat,” creating a tense atmosphere. The angry workers started breaking chairs. The use of chairs as weapons caused people to flee the school premises.

Seeing the deteriorating situation, the police deployed at the scene attempted to control the situation. The leaders on the stage also tried to pacify the workers, but the sloganeering continued, disrupting the conference.

This is not the first instance of a ruckus at an NDA workers’ conference. Earlier, on September 21, a similar incident occurred at a workers’ conference in Sakatpur Buniyaad Vidyalaya, Ali Nagar assembly constituency, Darbhanga district. The disturbance was due to the perceived neglect of JDU workers by former BJP district president Vinay Paswan. Prior to that, a conference in Jamui was also marred by a scuffle between a minister and a former MLC on the stage.

Several big films are set to clash at the box office, a scenario that has often resulted in losses. This year, filmmakers are preparing for the remaining months, with release…

Several big films are set to clash at the box office, a scenario that has often resulted in losses. This year, filmmakers are preparing for the remaining months, with release dates for many films being announced. Among these is a comedy franchise film. November will see the release of several major films, including Farhan Akhtar’s ‘120 Bahadur’, where he will be seen in an army role. To compete, a number of actors will come together. Milap Milan Zaveri’s ‘Masti 4’ is also scheduled for November.

Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab’s trio is returning to entertain audiences. The film was announced quite some time ago. A news website reported that the film’s teaser is ready and will be released soon.

When will the ‘Masti 4’ teaser be released?

A recent report revealed that the teaser for ‘Masti 4’ will be released soon. The 1 minute and 20-second teaser has been locked. Reacting to this, the film’s director said that the teaser will be released tomorrow, meaning the teaser could be released on September 23. It was also learned that the release date will be confirmed in the teaser, which is reported to be November 21.

The makers want to create buzz for the film. It is said that the theme of ‘Masti 4’ is similar to the first film, with situational comedy and a bit of thrill. However, the makers have completely reversed the story of the franchise this time, showing extra-marital affairs, including those of actresses. Some time ago, it was known that Arshad Warsi, Genelia, Elnaaz, and Ruhi Singh would be in the film. There were also reports of Tusshar Kapoor’s entry. If this is confirmed, Tusshar will cause a stir in his sister Ekta’s film, who is the producer.

Farhan Akhtar’s film ‘120 Bahadur’ will also be released on November 21. It is now being said that ‘Masti 4’ will also be released at the same time. If this date is confirmed in the teaser, then a box office clash is certain. Farhan might have to bear the brunt of this. It remains to be seen what decision the makers take regarding the release date.

In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, ABVP (Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) activists staged a vigorous demonstration outside the residence of Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar late Tuesday night. The protest was in response to a police baton charge on students at the Shri Ram Swaroop Memorial University (SRMU) in Barabanki on Monday and the minister’s allegedly controversial remarks.

During the demonstration, the protesting students vehemently shouted slogans against Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar and the government. A tense clash erupted between the students and the police, after which the police detained several activists and took them to Eco Garden. The situation in the area became tense for a while due to the demonstration.

On Monday, ABVP activists and students protested against the lack of recognition for the LLB course and alleged illegal activities at the Ram Swaroop University in Barabanki. It is alleged that the university has been running law courses without recognition from the Bar Council of India (BCI) since 2022, jeopardizing the future of the students. During the protest, the police carried out a baton charge, injuring more than 24 students.

Some students sustained serious injuries in the baton charge and were admitted to Mayo Hospital and the district hospital. Students allege that the police not only carried out a brutal baton charge, but also that external goons, at the behest of the university administration, attacked the students. This incident has created a political storm across the state.

The anger of the protesting students intensified when Cabinet Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar allegedly made controversial remarks about the injured students. The minister stated that the police rightly used batons on ABVP goons. Condemning this as insulting, ABVP workers held a sit-in outside Rajbhar’s residence on Tuesday night and burned an effigy. During the protest, angry students climbed the gate of the residence and raised slogans against the government and police administration.

Pushpendra Bajpai, the Awadh province secretary of ABVP, said, “Our demand is that strict action should be taken against the university administration and the guilty policemen. Our agitation will continue until justice is served to the injured students.”

Heavy police force was deployed at the scene to control the demonstration. As soon as the students started raising slogans by climbing the gate, the police tried to stop them. During this, there was a scuffle and a heated argument. The police used mild force to control the situation and took several protesters into custody and took them to Eco Garden.

This incident also gave the opposition parties an opportunity to attack the government. The Samajwadi Party (SP)’s student wing, Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, and NSUI demonstrated in front of Raj Bhavan in Lucknow in support of ABVP. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav termed it a fight for dominance between the ruling parties and demanded compensation of one lakh rupees each for the injured students and proper treatment. Congress MP Tanuj Punia also condemned the police action by visiting the injured students at the trauma center.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognizance of the matter and ordered immediate action. Barabanki CO City Harshit Chauhan was removed, while Kotwali SHO Ramkishan Rana and outpost in-charge Gajendra Singh were put on the line. Along with this, the Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya and IG have been directed to investigate. The CM has also issued orders to investigate the validity of the university’s degree.

ABVP and other student organizations have demanded that the Vice Chancellor of the university be dismissed, the expelled students be reinstated, and a clear position be presented regarding the recognition of the law degree. The students have warned that if their demands are not met, the agitation will be intensified.

The anticipation is building for Prabhas’s upcoming film. While he can make a comeback anytime, the release date of his completed film is uncertain. He has several big projects in the works, each requiring completion. Initially, ‘The Raja Saab’ was slated for release in December of this year. However, the announcement of ‘Dhurandhar’ starring Ranveer Singh and ‘Romeo’ starring Shahid Kapoor for the same time led to the postponement of Prabhas’s film. Now, the new release plan presents a double threat. The film, directed by Maruthi and featuring Sanjay Dutt in a negative role, may clash with other anticipated films. Reports suggest the makers are targeting Pongal, with a release date set for January 9, 2026. This puts Prabhas in a potential clash with three other South Indian films.

Violence erupted in Patna, Bihar, as members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress party clashed on Friday. The confrontation was triggered by accusations of derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother during an INDIA bloc rally held in Darbhanga. The situation escalated with stone-pelting as the BJP staged a protest in front of the Congress office in Patna. Nitin Nabin, a Bihar Minister and BJP leader, declared that the public would provide a strong response to the Congress, emphasizing the insult to a mother. Ashutosh, a Congress worker, countered by criticizing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, alleging government involvement in the clash. Authorities in Darbhanga arrested a man accused of making abusive statements against PM Modi, as confirmed by Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Chaudhary. The incident stems from an alleged video circulating online, prompting condemnation from BJP leaders who criticized the Opposition’s ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ for the offensive language used. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condemned the remarks, calling them an insult to the Indian people. Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav also voiced strong disapproval, demanding an apology from the Congress and RJD. The Opposition has responded, accusing the BJP of using ‘irrelevant’ issues to distract from other matters.

In Patna, Bihar, a protest march was organized by the Bihar BJP on Friday in response to the alleged use of abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother and…

In Patna, Bihar, a protest march was organized by the Bihar BJP on Friday in response to the alleged use of abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother and making inappropriate remarks against him during rallies held by RJD and Congress in Darbhanga, Bihar. The march began from the Kurji Holy Family Hospital in the capital and proceeded through various roads, lanes, and neighborhoods before reaching the Congress state office, Sadaqat Ashram. Protesters strongly condemned the alleged insults directed towards women, staging vehement demonstrations against the RJD and Congress.

During the march, clashes erupted between BJP and Congress workers near the Congress state office. There were reports of baton charges during the confrontation. The area around Sadaqat Ashram remained a battleground for about an hour. Several workers from both sides were reportedly injured during the demonstrations. Minister Nitin Navin issued a warning to the RJD and Congress, stating that they had insulted his mother.

Minister Sanjay Sarawgi asserted that Bihar would not tolerate any insult to anyone’s mother. He emphasized that the Prime Minister dedicates his life to serving 140 crore citizens day and night, and the derogatory remarks made by the RJD-Congress reflect their low standards. He believes that the mindset of the Mahagathbandhan has sunk so low that they are using offensive language even for the Prime Minister’s deceased mother. Sarawgi added that this is not only an insult to the Prime Minister but also an attack on the dignity of every Indian mother and woman. MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia echoed these sentiments, claiming that while the Congress might take pride in insulting any mother, the people of Bihar would not tolerate the disrespect towards women, as every mother deserves respect.

RJD spokesperson Chittaranjan Gagan strongly condemned the attack by BJP workers on the Congress office in Sadaqat Ashram, Patna, calling it a cowardly act. He stated that action should be taken against anyone who used indecent language against the Prime Minister. The RJD has always advocated for maintaining decorum in language and behavior in politics. Gagan criticized the ministers of the Bihar government for orchestrating a planned attack on the office of a political party, including vandalism and physical violence against the workers, and stated that any condemnation would be insufficient.

JDU state spokesperson Himraj Ram and media panelist Dr. Madhurendu Pandey jointly issued a statement on Friday, strongly criticizing the Congress and RJD. They claimed that the leaders of these two parties are agitated due to their anticipated loss in the upcoming assembly elections and have resorted to using abusive language. They noted that instead of focusing on meaningful debates or discussions about development, the opposition leaders are using foul language as their political ground erodes.

They lamented that this declining standard of politics by the opposition is no longer limited to the Prime Minister. They have used insulting and uncouth language against the popular Prime Minister of the country, as well as his mother. They view this as an insult not only to the Prime Minister but also to the sentiments of the entire nation. They asserted that democracy involves debates of ideas, not the use of abusive language and personal attacks. They stated that this insults the cultured politics of Bihar and the expectations of the people.

Male’s Politburo member Dhirendra Jha stated that the BJP is now engaged in baseless propaganda, disturbed by the resounding success of the Voter Adhikar Yatra and the widespread public mobilization it has achieved. He claimed that no leader from any party in the Mahagathbandhan made any statement or speech as alleged by the BJP. He said that there was neither a meeting nor a press conference during the yatra in Darbhanga. He believed that the BJP is arranging dramas before the yatra reaches the venue.

The truth is that the huge crowd that gathered at this historic yatra has shaken the foundation of the BJP. A new enthusiasm and energy has been infused in the youth. The BJP leaders’ sleep has been disturbed by the echo of this yatra. Their statements are now violating not only parliamentary, but also social norms.

JDU’s state president, Umesh Singh Kushwaha, while addressing the NDA workers’ conference held in the Rupouli assembly, stated that all the workers of the constituent parties should unite like a closed fist and hoist the NDA’s flag of victory in Rupouli.
The state president noted that the Seemanchal region, which had long suffered from backwardness, has now gained new momentum in development under the double-engine NDA government. The inauguration of the Purnia Airport on September 15 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will prove to be a milestone in the economic development of Seemanchal.

The state president, targeting the opposition, said that the opposition wants to divert the attention of the public under the guise of the Vote Adhikar Yatra. He added that it is a political irony that when Congress and its allied parties win, it is declared a victory for democracy, and when they lose, the blame is placed on the Election Commission. The people of Bihar are well aware of this dual-character politics.

Kushwaha stated that the enthusiasm and mutual coordination of the NDA constituent party workers is proof that the NDA will register a historic victory in Seemanchal in the upcoming assembly elections. He expressed confidence that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will once again take charge of Bihar with a massive majority of 225 seats.

State Congress President Rajesh Ram strongly reacted to the attack on the state Congress headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, by BJP ministers and MLAs of the Bihar government. He said that the attack and hooliganism by the BJP leaders inside the state office at a time when the state Congress is led by a Dalit son of Bihar, reflects their hateful and dominant mentality towards the Dalit community.

He stated that they are losing sleep over the struggle of the Dalit, marginalized, and oppressed communities who are continuously getting stronger under the Congress leadership. That’s why they are, on one hand, cutting the votes of us, the Dalits and backward classes, and destroying our political strength and on the other hand, trying to scare us by attacking the state Congress headquarters led by a Dalit son. But we follow Bapu. Non-violence and fearlessness are our core ideals. If the guns of the British could not scare us, we will not be intimidated by their friends’ sticks and stones.

Bihar’s Rural Works Minister, Ashok Choudhary, stated on Friday that the insulting remarks against the Prime Minister are against democratic norms. He made these remarks after the public hearing program held at the JDU state office on Friday. Prior to this, Ashok Choudhary heard the problems of the general public who came from all over the state and took the necessary initiatives to solve them. Along with this, he also gave the necessary instructions to the concerned officials for quick action.

A joint workers’ conference of the NDA was organized on Friday in various assembly constituencies. Senior leaders from the constituent parties attended this workers’ conference and boosted the morale of the enthusiastic workers, making them feel the power of unity. In the assembly workers’ conference, BJP state president Dr. Dilip Jaiswal and Minister Nitish Mishra boosted the morale of the workers in Ramnagar. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Minister Hari Sahni in Purnia, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha and MP Dharmshila Gupta in Darauli, Union Minister Nityanand Rai, Minister Nitin Navin and Rituraj Sinha in Buxar boosted the morale of the workers.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said in the workers’ conference in Purnia that today Nitish Kumar is working to respect and make women self-reliant, while the Congress and RJD leaders are abusing the Prime Minister’s mother. Targeting Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav, he said that today two ‘princes’ are roaming in Bihar, but the road on which they are roaming is also the gift of the Nitish government.

Health services at Patna AIIMS were disrupted on Friday as resident doctors refused to work, protesting alleged misconduct by Shivhar JDU MLA Chetan Anand. A case of assault and misbehavior has been registered against both the MLA and AIIMS staff. Police are reviewing CCTV footage. The incident occurred when MLA Anand visited the hospital with supporters to see a patient. He alleged that AIIMS guards misbehaved with him, leading to a written complaint. The City SP confirmed the registration of cross-complaints involving physical altercations. The Resident Doctors Association (RDA) has demanded action against Anand and increased security at the hospital, alleging that the MLA, his wife, and armed security personnel forcefully entered the premises, assaulted security personnel, threatened resident doctors, and brandished a gun. Anand stated that he and his wife were visiting a supporter when the security personnel prevented them from entering, leading to an altercation with staff and subsequent injuries.

A dispute erupted in Gumla, Jharkhand, when municipal council personnel attempted to remove vegetable shops from the Jashpur Road, adjacent to NH-78. The ensuing confrontation turned the vegetable market into a battleground for about half an hour. The situation escalated when a municipal council employee allegedly struck a female vegetable vendor and her child with a bamboo stick during the anti-encroachment drive. This action triggered outrage among the vendors, who retaliated by attacking the municipal council staff. The police intervened to protect the employees. In response to the bulldozer action, the irate shopkeepers blocked the Ranchi-Chhattisgarh road near the Bengali Club on Jashpur Road, causing a traffic jam from 12 noon to 2 pm. The road was cleared after SDPO Suresh Prasad and Inspector Mahendra Karmali intervened and persuaded the protestors. A subsequent meeting was held at the police station involving the municipal council and vegetable vendors to resolve the issue.
