Discussion on the works of litterateur in Chhattisgarhi and regional languages program ‘Akhar’
The literary program ‘Aakhar’ for Chhattisgarhi Rajbhasha and other dialects of the state was started with the joint effort of Prabha Khaitan Foundation, Abhilap Foundation, Hayat Raipur. Senior writer litterateur Shivshankar Shukla was the author of Chhattisgarhi’s first novel ‘Diana Ke Anjor’ in the first episode. Sanjiv Tiwari played the role of narrator with Shukla. Shukla’s Chhattisgarhi literature and compositions were discussed in this program.
He told that his first work was published at the age of eight in the magazine ‘Vinod’ to be published from Prayagraj. After this, he kept writing in Hindi for a long time. Chhattisgarhi monthly magazine published in the 50s. In this task, his elder brother Late. Dayashankar Shukla was an inspiration. However, the magazine could only be published for one year, after which it had to stop publishing due to losses.
In the sixties, he coined the ‘Anjor of Diana’ work on the basis of his family background, the focus of which was the life of his sister-in-law. After this, he wrote a novel called ‘Mongra’, in which Hindi translation was written by renowned litterateur and author of Rajgith of Chhattisgarh. Dr. Narendra Dev Verma did it. A Russian translation of this novel has also been published.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel in the 13th episode of the monthly radio talk Lokvani aired today, this time Chhattisgarh Government spoke to the people of the state on the subject of two-year term. Mr. Baghel said that the state government has implemented several schemes like debt waiver, paddy purchase, Suraji village, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana and Godhan Nyaya Yojana for the farmers, which are continuously giving strength to the villages. Along with this, the policies of the state government showed positive effect in the industry and business world as well. The entire country was affected by the recession during the Corona crisis, while Chhattisgarh remained untouched by the recession. Chhattisgarh set an example of reducing the unemployment rate to two per cent from schemes like MNREGA, OnePoz procurement. There was also a capital investment of Rs 1500 crore in industrial units. In which large number of people got employment. Efforts initiated by the state government for value addition in agriculture and forestry products will open new doors of prosperity of the state.
The Chief Minister said in Lokvani that broadly speaking, empowerment of common people, giving strength to farmers, tribals and weaker sections is the main feature of our development model. Gadkaleva has been started by the new government in every district of Chhattisgarh on the lines of Indian Coffee House. Not only the traditional cuisine of Chhattisgarh is available in Garhkaleva but there is also preparation to keep all the products of Devbhog. It has been established as a new brand due to the continuous encouragement of the Gadhakaleva by the state government. Traditional dishes from these centers will soon be served to the guests of the state and visitors from outside. As per the intention of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, folk art and culture of Chhattisgarh is being promoted. In order to give a new look to Garhkaleva, a series of bamboo craft furniture have been released by the Handicrafts Development Board to make these centers attractive and in line with the Chhattisgarhi tradition. Due to the traditional surroundings and decoration of Chhattisgarh, the attraction of these centers starting in the districts has increased. Chhattisgarhi catering and cuisine sales center operates in the Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum Complex of Raipur. It has lived up to the quality and standards, competing with other food and drink centers in Raipur city, giving a boost to traditional and healthy, delicious food. The culture of Chhattisgarh has distinct and rare traditions of food, Which unfolds in every Prahar, Bella, Weather and Teej festival. The horseshoe of the forest-tribal society is mainly based on natural forest produce, so the horseshoe of district culture has interesting juicy variety. Mangalik and Garamangalik have a vast range of cuisines of both contexts. These dishes are roasted, steamed, fried in oil and they are prepared without all three. He further said- ‘In the celebration of Yuva Utsav, he had deeply influenced the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru of his thoughts. The Chief Minister said that it is the goal of the state government to give life to the farmers for justice, self-respect and self-reliance. For this, the state government implemented schemes like paddy price of Rs 2500 quintal, agricultural loan waiver, irrigation tax waiver, concessional power, free electricity for SC / ST farmers for farming, so that the smile on the face of the farmers returned. In a radio talk, Mr. Baghel gave detailed information about the schemes implemented by the new government for education, health, increase in income of villagers and farmers, promotion of Chhattisgarhi culture. Due to which his son’s bone marrow has been transplanted. Similarly, Shri Ajit Kumar Jangde of Bethia village of Jaijpur, Tehsil of District Janjgir-Champa, told that his 14-year-old son, Lucky Jangde, has developed a disease named Major thalassemia. With the help of 14 lakh rupees received from this scheme, his son’s bone marrow has been transplanted. Mr. Soni and Mr. Jangade treated their son in CMC Hospital Vellore. Both of them thanked the Chief Minister for the help he received from the ‘Chief Minister Special Health Assistance Scheme’.
