    GS Murthy, Additional Secretary in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, passed away in Allahabad. The corona infected idol was hospitalized for a fortnight for treatment. The last rites of the idol will be performed in Raipur.

    According to the information, after Additional Secretary GS Murthy got corona infected, his doctor daughter had taken him to Allahabad for better treatment. But as his health did not improve, preparations were being made to shift him to a hospital in Delhi. He died before he could be shifted.

    Murthy’s father had passed away six months back in Raipur. GS Murthy’s younger brother Dr. Ramnesh Murthy is the Dean of Ambikapur Medical College. After the partition of undivided Madhya Pradesh, Murthy had moved to Chhattisgarh from the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He had two years left to retire. Therefore, it was believed that he would reach the chair of the assembly secretary.

    Today is the fourth day of the budget session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The matter of paddy purchase, custom milling and supebheda will be heard in the house today.

    Ajay Chandrakar, Punnulal Mohle and Narayan Chandel from the BJP will take up the matter in question. He will call attention of the government for not initiating the water magnification scheme in Superbeda through attention notice.

    In the Question Hour, most of the questions have been related to the department of Urban Administration Minister Shiv Kumar Dahria and Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat.
