At its highly anticipated ‘Awe Dropping’ event on September 9th, Apple revealed the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the flagship model in its new lineup. Following the unveiling of the iPhone 17 and the ultra-slim iPhone Air, the Pro Max takes center stage as Apple’s most advanced smartphone to date, boasting significant improvements in performance, design, and camera capabilities. The device is powered by the new A19 Pro chipset, promising industry-leading performance and the title of the fastest smartphone ever created. The Pro Max introduces the ‘iPhone Unibody’ design, a seamlessly machined aluminum enclosure that enhances structural integrity, houses a larger battery, and improves heat dissipation. This design innovation allows for up to 39 hours of video playback. The camera system features three upgraded 48MP rear lenses with 8x optical zoom and up to 40x digital zoom. The front-facing camera includes an 18MP Center Stage feature for improved selfies and video recording. Connectivity is enhanced with Apple’s custom-designed N1 wireless chip, supporting Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread technologies. The Pro Max also features faster charging, reaching 50% battery in just 20 minutes with a high-wattage USB-C adapter.

If you’re looking for an electric scooter with a low price and a long range, the Vida VX2 could be a good option. A key feature of this scooter is its two removable batteries, providing a range of up to 142 km. Interestingly, with the BaaS plan, the scooter’s price starts at just 44,990 rupees, making it a smart choice for city driving. The VX2 is the first electric scooter where range anxiety is addressed not by an exceptionally long range, but by the removable battery, which can be charged at a roadside tea stall if needed. In essence, the VX2 offers a practical blend of common sense and electric mobility.

Having an inverter at home has become commonplace, especially during the hot and rainy seasons when power outages are frequent. However, have you ever considered that maintaining your inverter’s battery is just as crucial? Most people are unaware that distilled water must be added to an inverter battery. Neglecting this can lead to premature battery failure and costly replacements. Here’s why water is essential, how often to add it, and what precautions to take.

Inverter batteries use lead-acid cells that utilize an electrolyte (a liquid acid plus distilled water) during charging and discharging. As the battery is used and charged, water gradually evaporates. If water isn’t added periodically, the electrolyte level decreases, impacting performance.

Adding water is necessary to maintain the electrolyte level, ensuring the battery functions correctly. Distilled water balances this level. It extends the battery’s life, preventing overheating and damage. Dry batteries can overheat and potentially ignite or explode. Proper water levels also ensure full charging efficiency, providing good backup power.

Tap water is unsuitable; it contains minerals, salts, and iron, which can damage the internal plates, causing early failure and reduced backup time.

Check the battery monthly. Add enough distilled water to submerge the plates, avoiding overfilling to prevent acid leakage.
