Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is currently visiting Gujarat, a state traditionally considered a BJP stronghold. He is participating in a training camp for District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents in Junagadh,…

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is currently visiting Gujarat, a state traditionally considered a BJP stronghold. He is participating in a training camp for District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents in Junagadh, which concludes today after a 10-day duration. This marks Rahul Gandhi’s seventh visit to Gujarat in the last six months and his second trip within a week, indicating a significant focus on the state.

Gujarat has been a BJP bastion, and Rahul Gandhi aims to make inroads. He plans to tour all 182 assembly constituencies in the western state in the coming months to assess the ground situation. During his April visit to Gujarat, Rahul emphasized that the path to defeating the BJP at the national level goes through Gujarat.

Rahul’s vision for Gujarat is clear. With the assembly elections scheduled for 2027, less than two years away, he believes that a BJP loss in Gujarat would reflect on Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah, both hailing from Gujarat. Rahul has expressed confidence in defeating the BJP in the 2027 elections, citing the near-victory of the Congress in the 2017 assembly elections when he was Congress President. The Congress secured 77 seats, while the BJP won 99. Many Congress leaders believe a win in Gujarat would send a strong message across the country and contribute to the INDIA alliance’s success in the 2029 national elections.

New district heads in Gujarat are now participating in training camps, learning about the party’s ideology, policies, how to counter the state government, and how to plan political campaigns.

In the 2022 assembly elections, Congress won only 17 seats, with its vote share declining from 40% to 28%. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) made an impact, securing 5 seats and 13% of the vote share. The BJP achieved its best performance, winning 156 seats with a 52% vote share. Rahul Gandhi is consistently touring Gujarat, working to strengthen the organization. The success of these efforts will be seen in the 2027 elections.

Rahul is also focused on building a new Congress to compete with the BJP in Gujarat. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge stated at the camp’s inauguration that two individuals from Gujarat had liberated and united the country, but now two individuals from Gujarat, who are in Delhi, are taking away freedom and do not want to preserve democracy. Kharge indirectly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, referencing Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel. The Congress training camp is taking place shortly before municipal and city council elections in Gujarat.

Political activity in Bihar is intensifying in anticipation of the upcoming assembly elections. All political parties are focused on strengthening their organizations across the state. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will embark on a two-day visit to Bihar, commencing on Thursday. During his visit, he will hold organizational meetings with party leaders and workers from various districts, focusing on election preparations. Shah is scheduled to meet with BJP party workers from 20 districts of the state, including meetings in Dehri-on-Sone and Begusarai. In Dehri-on-Sone (Rohtas district), he will convene with BJP workers and leaders from 10 districts in the Magadh and Shahabad regions at the late Lalan Singh Stadium. Following this, the Home Minister will travel to Begusarai, where he will engage with leaders and officials from another 10 districts, including Patna Rural, Patna Metro, Barh, and Nalanda. The BJP has divided Bihar into five organizational zones, and Shah will interact with leaders from two of these zones during his visit. He is expected to address approximately 2,000 to 2,500 BJP workers, including district presidents and MLAs. Party leaders indicate that the meetings will emphasize election preparations and strategies. The BJP has initiated a campaign plan in the state, including the “Seva Pakhwada” program at the booth level. From September 18 to 25, ‘door-to-door contact campaigns’ will be conducted to inform people about welfare schemes launched by the state and central governments. Following this meeting, Shah will hold another meeting with BJP leaders on September 27. These meetings are likely to focus on seat distribution, candidate selection, and campaign strategies with alliance partners. The BJP has set a target of winning 225 seats, and joint worker conferences are being planned across all 243 assembly constituencies as part of this strategy. BJP State President Dilip Jaiswal stated that the central minister’s visit aims to organize grassroots workers and boost their morale before the elections. The central minister will discuss booth-level preparations and strengthening the party. Shah will review election strategies at the district and regional levels and assess the ground realities through interactions with MPs, MLAs, senior leaders, and district presidents, aiming to create a roadmap for the party’s victory in the Bihar assembly elections. Jaiswal mentioned that this visit will boost the morale of BJP workers and accelerate the organizational strategy for the elections. Shah’s visit follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Purnia on September 15 and is seen as a significant event before the elections.

In response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call from the Red Fort to embrace Swadeshi and make India self-reliant, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is launching a nationwide campaign. This initiative is seen as a strategic move to counter the impact of ongoing tariff wars.

The BJP’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’ will run from September 25th (Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jayanti) to December 25th (Atal Bihari Vajpayee Jayanti). This campaign will encompass conferences, marches, and outreach efforts targeting various segments of society, including traders, industries, farmers, women, and entrepreneurs. The aim is to raise awareness and encourage the adoption of indigenous products.

During the festive season, the campaign will focus on promoting Swadeshi products by inspiring people, shopkeepers, and entrepreneurs. It will encourage the purchase of indigenous goods during Diwali, the sale of Swadeshi products by shopkeepers, and the use of traditional diyas (lamps) instead of foreign lighting products.

This decision comes from BJP’s National President Jagat Prakash Nadda. This move is particularly significant amid the US tariffs. While India seeks to explore export opportunities in Europe and other markets to counter US tariffs, it is simultaneously emphasizing self-reliance by promoting indigenous products to reduce foreign imports.

The ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’ will communicate the message of self-reliance, urging citizens to use indigenous products and adopt Swadeshi values. The campaign will start on September 25th, the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, and conclude on December 25th, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The first phase of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp’ conferences will be organized in all districts in October, followed by the second phase in all mandals (administrative divisions) in November-December. Active participation from relevant social and business organizations, as well as stakeholders like local artisans and craftsmen, will be ensured.

Political tensions are escalating in Bihar following derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. The ruling NDA has called for a Bihar bandh on September 4th in protest.…

Political tensions are escalating in Bihar following derogatory remarks made against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. The ruling NDA has called for a Bihar bandh on September 4th in protest. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), along with all its allies in the NDA, will participate in the bandh. During a recent event, PM Modi stated that while he might forgive RJD and Congress for the insult to his mother, the people of Bihar will not. He has also established the party’s stance on this issue. The BJP is now working to finalize a comprehensive campaign strategy.

The BJP is planning a widespread campaign to take the issue of the offensive remarks down to the grassroots level in Bihar. The party intends to take this issue to the assembly and district levels, where protests will be held to highlight the issue of the insult to women. During these protests, the people of Bihar, especially women, will be informed about how, if PM Modi’s mother can be insulted, what kind of behavior they can expect from the government.

BJP is holding a crucial meeting in Delhi on Wednesday to discuss this issue. Senior BJP leaders from Bihar will attend the meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. This meeting is considered significant for finalizing the party’s election strategy.

It is anticipated that the meeting will be attended by BJP National President JP Nadda, along with Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal, both Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Union Ministers Giriraj Singh and Nityanand Rai. Additionally, Vinod Tawde, in charge of the party organization, co-in charge Deepak Prakash, and senior leaders Bhikhubhai Dalsania and Nagendranath will also be present.

According to sources, the meeting is expected to focus on five major issues. First, there might be a discussion at the organizational level, including necessary improvements. Second, important political issues will be discussed. Third, coordination with the NDA will be addressed. Fourth, feedback from the ground will be discussed. Fifth, the performance of the government will be reviewed. Furthermore, an analysis of the impact of the opposition’s ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ will also be done.

However, the BJP believes that this will not have much impact on the ground, as most people’s votes have not been affected. The impact of Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraaj Party at the grassroots level will also be discussed. An assessment will be made to determine if this is having any adverse effect on the NDA’s prospects.

The BJP is particularly focused on the Seemanchal region of Bihar, with its eyes on 30 seats in Katihar, Purnia, Araria, and Kishanganj. It is reported that leaders of allied parties will also participate in this meeting from the next time. The first phase of the NDA worker’s conference has concluded, and it will also be reviewed.

Furthermore, preparations for PM Modi’s rally in Purnia on September 15th will also be discussed. This is a very important visit by PM Modi concerning Seemanchal, which will impact the 30 seats in Seemanchal. The BJP is focused on the 30 seats in Katihar, Purnia, Araria, and Kishanganj. PM Modi will announce several major projects, including an airport, at the rally. A large number of people are expected to attend PM’s rally.

The BJP has divided Bihar into 11 blocks for organizational purposes. The programs of PM’s visit are being planned in such a way that they cover all the blocks. With this visit to Purnia, the PM will cover the entire state of Bihar.

During a voter rights campaign in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi allegedly used offensive language regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. The BJP has strongly criticized the Congress over the matter, stating that such a low level of politics had never been witnessed before. The BJP asserted that the campaign had crossed all limits of insult, hatred, and degradation. A case has been registered against Rahul Gandhi in Patna. The Congress has not yet issued a response.

The BJP posted on social media platform X, stating that extremely abusive language was used against the late mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi from the stage of the Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav campaign. It further stated that such a level of depravity had never been seen in politics and that the campaign had crossed all boundaries of insult, hatred, and degradation.

BJP accused Rahul Gandhi of allowing the use of abusive language towards PM Modi’s mother from the stage. The party further stated that Tejashwi Yadav and Rahul Gandhi had previously insulted the people of Bihar by inviting leaders like Stalin and Revanth Reddy, who had insulted the people of Bihar, to their campaign. They added that their desperation has led them to allow abusive language to be used against the late mother of Prime Minister Modi. The party claimed that the language used from the stage by Tejashwi and Rahul was so offensive that it was impossible to repeat it in public.

The BJP stated that even if Rahul and Tejashwi apologized repeatedly, the people of Bihar would not forgive them, calling it deeply shameful.

Krishna Singh Kallu, a member of the Bihar BJP executive, filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi at the Gandhi Maidan police station in Patna. The BJP leader stated that Rahul Gandhi had been making derogatory remarks about the Prime Minister and Home Minister Amit Shah. He further added that a platform was set up by a Congress leader in Darbhanga from which abusive language was used against the Prime Minister and his mother. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at the Gandhi Maidan police station in Patna to take appropriate legal action.

Chirag Paswan criticized the language used by the opposition, stating that it was unacceptable. He said that the opposition was degrading the standards of language and that it was inappropriate to abuse the Prime Minister in this manner. He emphasized that this behavior cannot be tolerated and questioned whether the individuals using such language against the Prime Minister are the opposition’s workers. He added that targeting anyone’s family in politics is wrong and that such actions are condemnable in a democracy. He accused the opposition of corruption and expressed that the opposition will now focus on the EVM and voter list issue. He warned that the Congress is leading the country towards anarchy, and PM Modi will not let their agenda succeed.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to commence a ‘Vote Adhikar Yatra’ (Vote Rights Yatra) in Bihar on August 17th, focusing on the issue of alleged vote theft. The yatra will begin in the Rohtas district, with the aim of protesting against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process underway in the state. The 16-day journey will cover approximately 24 districts across Bihar, concluding with a rally in Patna on September 1st. The yatra is designed to highlight perceived irregularities in the voter lists and to demonstrate the unity of the ‘India’ alliance ahead of the upcoming state elections. The yatra will include the participation of senior leaders and workers from all parties within the India alliance. The yatra will begin from Sasaram. Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav and other alliance partners may also participate.
