    New Delhi: Domestic wearable brand Boat has launched the company’s latest Wave Sigma 3 affordable smartwatch in the Indian market. The smartwatch supports on-device navigation powered by MapMyIndia. 
     
    The Boat Wave Sigma 3 comes in seven colour options – Metal Grey, Active Black, Metal Black, Cool Grey, Rustic Rose, Cherry Blossom and Sapphire Breeze.

    Boat Wave Sigma 3 Features:

    The smartwatch houses a large 2.01-inch display that supports 550 nits of brightness for an immersive viewing experience. It is powered by Crest+ OS and Wake Gesture support and comes with an Emergency SOS service. 

    The smart wearable comes with a DIY Watch Face Studio that allows users to customise their watch face with their favourite designs, photos, or themes. The smart wearable comes with more than 700 sports modes to track their activities like cycling, Yoga, swimming, running, and more.     The IP67-rated boAt Wave Sigma 3 smartwatch is claimed to offer up to 7 days of battery life without Bluetooth calling and up to 2 days with Bluetooth calling. The smartwatch can also monitor blood oxygen (SpO2), heart rate, energy levels, sleep, and more via the Crest App health.

    New Delhi: Domestic wearable brand Boat has rolled out a new True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds-Airdopes 800. It is India’s first budget-friendly Dolby-powered TWS earbuds. The newly launched TWS earbuds are offered in Interstellar green, Interstellar black, Interstellar blue, and Interstellar white colour options.

    The boAt Airdopes 800 TWS with Dolby Audio comes with a price tag of Rs 1,799. Consumers can purchase the boat Airdopes 800 TWS earbuds via boat-lifestyle.com, Amazon.in, Flipkart.com and select stores nationwide. 

    Airdopes 800 TWS Earbuds- 

    The Boat Airdopes 800 TWS earbuds pack 10mm titanium drivers. These drivers are tuned with Boat’s Signature Sound for heavy bass and precise audio. The Airdopes 800 TWS Earbuds are powered by Quad mic ENx Technology to ensure improved call quality and also support an Adaptive EQ feature through the Hearables App to suit the user’s audio preferences.   • boAt Hit With Massive Data Breach, Over 7.5 Million Customers At Risk Of Losing Personal Info |

    New Delhi: In a recent cyberattack, India’s leading audio brand, boAt, has suffered a data breach that has left the personal information of more than 7.5 million customers. This breach has exposed personal information, including names, addresses, contact numbers, email IDs, customer IDs, and more, putting users’ bank accounts and other private data at risk. 

    Despite the severity of the situation, boAt has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident. Notably, Forbes initially reported on the breach. 

    The breach was revealed by a hacker identifying as ShopifyGUY, who asserted to have breached boAt Lifestyle’s database on April 5. The hacker shared files containing the compromised data, reportedly comprising 7,550,000 entries, within a dark web forum. (Also Read: WhatsApp Call Scam Alert!     What Could Happen After This Breach: 

    As you may know, if a hacker obtains access to the database, they can utilize your phone number and email ID to not only circumvent device security but also send phishing emails. These emails can be utilized to pilfer data or even money by infecting your devices with malware.

    These scammers may contact you, armed with all your information, and attempt tomake them click on website links to download apps, or any other form to perform actions. 

    boAt- Second Most Popular Brand  

    boAt, established in 2016 by Aman Gupta and Sameer Mehta, has garnered recognition for its cost-effective audio products and wearable devices, emerging as the second most wearable brand in India. Despite the recent breach, the Gurugram-based company has experienced substantial growth, achieving sales exceeding Rs3,000 crore in March 2023.
