In a decisive step towards fortifying India’s northeastern frontiers, Union Home Minister Amit Shah lands in Bihar’s Araria district on Thursday. The highlight of his visit: unveiling a fresh SSB border post in Letti, designed to intensify surveillance and rapid response capabilities along the Nepal border.

The day won’t end there. Post-inauguration, Shah chairs a high-stakes review at Araria Collectorate, bringing together top brass from seven frontier districts. Topics on the table range from immediate security concerns to the rollout of the Vibrant Villages initiative, which promises infrastructure upliftment in isolated border villages.

Extending into Friday in Purnea, the minister’s deliberations aim to iron out administrative hurdles and synchronize efforts against illegal crossings. This visit caps a three-day whirlwind through Seemanchal, starting Wednesday with a Purnea welcome and a Kishanganj helicopter hop for an on-site audit of border management.

With logistics locked and security airtight, the tour spotlights the shift in focus after declaring India Naxal-free. Now, eyes are on cleansing Seemanchal of infiltrators. Shah’s frequent forays here signal a no-nonsense approach: monitor development projects closely while ensuring ironclad border defenses in these volatile zones near Nepal and Bangladesh.

In a significant move to bolster security in Bihar’s volatile Seemanchal belt, Union Home Minister Amit Shah kicked off his three-day visit with a high-stakes review meeting in Kishanganj. Touching down at Purnia’s military airport amid rousing welcomes from BJP stalwarts, Shah wasted no time, proceeding to convene with top brass including Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and MoS Home Nityanand Rai.

The gathering included key figures like Food Minister Leshi Singh, BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi, and administrative heavyweights such as Regional Commissioner Rajesh Kumar and local district heads. Discussions laid the groundwork for intensified border oversight.

Thursday brings Shah to Araria’s Letti border outpost on the Nepal line, where he’ll join a special security event before leading a comprehensive review at the district headquarters. Agenda items range from curbing illegal entries and monitoring demographic changes to enhancing surveillance and intel coordination.

Wrapping up on the 27th in Purnia, the visit emphasizes international boundary management amid rising concerns. Security is at peak levels, with layered police presence, vigilant intel units, and federal support blanketing key sites. This tour comes at a critical juncture, as Bihar’s border districts grapple with infiltration risks and strategic vulnerabilities, promising actionable strategies to safeguard national integrity.

After a 20-year absence, Kanishk Narayan, the UK’s Artificial Intelligence Minister from Muzaffarpur, Bihar, has returned to his homeland. His arrival in Patna on Friday morning marked an emotional milestone, greeted by JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha.

In candid remarks to reporters, Narayan reflected on his journey. ‘Returning to Bihar after more than 20 years feels incredible. This is my birthplace, and the development I’ve witnessed is inspiring. In the UK, we’re pushing AI boundaries, much like the progress unfolding here,’ he shared.

Jha hosted Narayan at his Patna home, emphasizing his guest’s roots. ‘He’s a UK minister and citizen, but forever a son of Muzaffarpur. This long-awaited return is special,’ Jha said.

The itinerary includes high-level talks with Bihar officials in the afternoon, focusing on AI opportunities. This could foster stronger UK-Bihar partnerships in emerging technologies.

Optimistic about Bihar’s future, Jha credited CM Nitish Kumar’s leadership. ‘The world is interconnected, and Bihar is rising with tech. From agriculture to healthcare and services, AI holds immense potential. We’ve created a launchpad for limitless growth. Bihar, the agricultural powerhouse, is poised to lead,’ he declared.

Narayan’s visit highlights the influence of Non-Resident Indians in global roles and Bihar’s evolution into a tech-savvy state, opening doors for international collaboration.

In a resounding endorsement, Bihar BJP president Sanjay Sarawgi described national chief Nitin Nabin’s maiden two-day visit as a pivotal moment for the party and the state. Arriving in Patna, Nabin held key discussions on organizational strengthening and development agendas, setting the stage for accelerated progress.

‘This visit has galvanized our cadres and inspired Bihar’s youth,’ Sarawgi enthused. Nabin’s itinerary was packed: closed-door sessions with senior leaders, core committee brainstorming, and oversight of constituency projects. He also graced the assembly, underscoring his commitment to grassroots governance.

Sarawgi highlighted the tour’s timing amid Nabin’s recent appointment, which has sparked unprecedented worker enthusiasm. Under NDA’s rule, Bihar is witnessing tangible gains in law enforcement and infrastructure, a stark contrast to RJD’s era of impunity for criminals.

‘Opposition has no moral ground to critique crime control when they once let felons dictate terms,’ Sarawgi fired back. He affirmed public support for NDA’s people-centric policies, dismissing RJD’s irrelevance.

On the national front, Sarawgi condemned opposition MPs, particularly Congress, for unruly Parliament antics. ‘Insulting the PM’s chair is unacceptable; it derails the nation’s growth path,’ he stated firmly.

Nabin’s proactive outreach reinforces BJP’s dominance in Bihar, positioning the state for sustained prosperity and electoral success.

In a grand show of unity, BJP national president Nitin Nabin received a hero’s welcome in Patna on Monday, marking his inaugural trip to Bihar post his elevation. The Bapu Auditorium brimmed with supporters, their cheers and floral tributes creating an unforgettable scene of party solidarity.

Health Minister Mangal Pandey hailed the occasion as a milestone in BJP’s Bihar chronicle. He praised the fervent reception and boldly predicted a BJP government in West Bengal under Nabin’s stewardship. ‘This is our leader from Bihar’s heartland leading us forward,’ Pandey enthused, outlining a roadmap for the party’s resurgence.

Dharmshila Gupta, BJP MP, called Bihar ‘blessed’ by Nabin’s presence. Detailing the ceremony’s vibrancy—from claps to chants—she attributed the leadership handover from PM Modi to Nabin as a masterstroke for youth empowerment. ‘He will take BJP to unparalleled success,’ she confidently stated.

Sanjay Jaiswal, another MP, observed a level of excitement never seen before. ‘Workers are reenergized, ready to tackle every challenge,’ he said, pointing to accelerated progress on key agendas. Shahnawaz Hussain, traveling with Nabin, described statewide elation over their ‘Bihar-born’ president’s return.

Hussain didn’t hold back on Rahul Gandhi, slamming his proposed no-trust move against the Speaker as a breach of parliamentary norms. ‘Rahul lacks the basics of opposition politics,’ he quipped.

This visit underscores BJP’s momentum under Nabin, positioning West Bengal as the next frontier. With Bihar’s base fired up, the party eyes dominance in the east, blending homecoming hype with strategic foresight.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bihar today, marking his 51st visit to the state. The visit includes the inauguration and foundation laying of development projects worth over…

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Bihar today, marking his 51st visit to the state. The visit includes the inauguration and foundation laying of development projects worth over Rs 5,000 crore in Siwan district, along with the flagging off of a new Vande Bharat Express train. However, the visit has ignited political debate, with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav raising 12 pointed questions for the Prime Minister.

Yadav stated, “It is heard that you (PM Modi) are coming to Bihar again today to shower lies and gimmicks. On this occasion, I have some questions for you, and I hope you will definitely answer them in your speech today.”

Here are the 12 questions posed by Tejashwi Yadav:

1. You have broken all limits by addressing more than 200 rallies, coated in the sweet syrup of lies, in the past elections to mislead Biharis. We humbly request that you observe and analyze your previous speeches and promises before coming to Bihar. I can say with confidence that you yourself will not be able to talk to yourself because of shame after listening to your own speeches? Will you accept this request?
2. Will you repeat the show of inaugurations, and groundbreakings of the announcements continuously being made since 2015?
3. Will you clarify to the people of Bihar why, despite the double-engine powered NDA government in Bihar for 20 years and at the center for 11 years, Bihar is the most backward state in the country in terms of poverty, unemployment, per capita income, investment, literacy rate, and industrialization, according to reports from your own NITI Aayog and various standard agencies of the Government of India?
4. Will you tell the people of the Saran division that Lalu Prasad Ji established JP University and three large railway factories in this division, along with countless development works? Engines are now being sent abroad from the railway engine factory established by Lalu Ji in Marhaura?
5. Will you tell the people of Bihar that more than 65,000 innocent people were murdered during the 20 years of NDA rule? 25,000 girls were raped? Will you be ashamed to mention this achievement of the NDA’s reign of terror or will you forget it?
6. Will you give information about the unconscious state of Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar to the people of the country, just as you used to tell about the then Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik Ji?
7. Will you honor the grooms of the alliance nominated in the NDA (National Son-in-Law Commission) in today’s rally?
8. Will you have the courage to condemn the incidents of firing happening outside the Chief Minister’s residence and Raj Bhavan due to the collapsed law and order in Bihar, or will you conveniently ignore the failures of the 20-year government and blame the opposition, wandering in Treta or Dwapar Yuga?
9. Will you count the more than 100 scams of more than 2 lakh crore rupees that took place in the 20-year NDA government? Remember, you yourself had mentioned 33 scams of Nitish Kumar Ji in the past?
10. Will you mention the divine, thoughtful, and burning issues like poverty, unemployment, inflation, bribery, migration, paper leaks, and domicile policy in your speech?
11. Why is the NDA government harassing employees in several districts to bring crowds in the scorching heat? Don’t you know that Asha workers, Mamta, Anganwadi workers-assistants, Jeevika didi, Vikas Mitras, Kisan Salahkars, Talimi Markaz, Shiksha Mitras, Tola Sevaks, teachers, etc., are under pressure from the administration to bring crowds at their own expense? How will the poor arrange vehicles for such a low honorarium for your rally? Why are the administration and the organizers of your rally harassing the poor employees financially and mentally by asking for the driver’s and the vehicle’s number?
12. In Siwan, will you tell us why our brave Indian Army and valiant soldiers, who were advancing and eager to teach a befitting lesson to the terrorists and the protectors of terrorists, Pakistan, under Operation Sindoor, were stopped on the orders of Trump’s ceasefire? Especially when the whole country and the opposition were standing with the government and the army. Why did your dear friend Trump announce a ceasefire before you? Who is this Trump to interfere in our matters?

PM Modi’s visit comes just 20 days after his previous trip to the state. BJP leader and Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary mentioned that the Prime Minister is visiting Bihar for the second time in 20 days and will be in Bihar for the 5th time this year. The Prime Minister had visited the state on May 29-30. Chaudhary added that a total of 22 projects worth Rs 5,736 crore will be inaugurated in Siwan, and the Prime Minister will distribute over Rs 51,000 crore as the first installment of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to 53,666 homeless people. In addition, 6,684 urban poor families will receive the keys to their new homes. The PM will also flag off a new Vande Bharat train that will run between Patliputra Junction near Patna and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. Modi will also lay the foundation stone for 11 projects of the Amrit Bharat Yojana and four other projects under the Namami Gange project, and inaugurate the new Vaishali-Deoria railway line.
