  • Corona infection situation in the state under control: Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel

    The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel attended the Chief Ministers Meeting organized by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi through video conferencing from his residence office here today. He said that in the month of July there were 4 percent positive cases in the state, 8 percent in August, 15 percent in September, 10.5 percent in October, 7 percent in November. Death rate was one percent in October-November. The Chief Minister said that initially there were very few cases of corona in Chhattisgarh, but the infection increased due to those coming from other states. He said that oxygen plots would be set up in medical colleges.

  • Suspicious recruitment of medical seats in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Baghel ordered inquiry

  • Dai-Didi clinic’s vehicles flagged off

    Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today launched Dai-Didi Clinic, a clinic for women, on the birthday of former Prime Minister late Smt. Indira Gandhi. The Chief Minister flagged off 03 special mobile Dai-Didi clinics for his Raipur, Durg-Bhilai and Bilaspur Municipal Corporation areas as a pilot project. The Chief Minister also visited the facilities available inside the mobile clinic and got his blood pressure checked. In this Dai-Didi Special Clinic, all medical staff including doctors will be women and only women will be treated free of cost.

    On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that the Dai-Didi Clinic is the first of its kind in the country, which will treat only women. Currently it has been started as a pilot project under the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme in Raipur, Durg-Bhilai and Bilaspur Corporation areas and will be further expanded. The Chief Minister said that due to inhibitions, women are not able to tell their illness openly. Due to this, the treatment of his disease is not possible. Now, having female doctors and female staff in Dai-Didi clinics, they will be able to get their treatment properly. In this, women will get free treatment. They will not have to go to hospitals. The Chief Minister has appealed to women to take maximum benefit of this clinic.

  • Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate Dai-Didi Clinic on 19 November

    On November 19, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the Dai-Didi Clinic, a special clinic for women, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Smt. Indira Gandhi. This special women’s medical mobile clinic launched for women will be the first unique clinic of its kind in the country. Only women patients will get free treatment facility in the trains of clinics. Only women staff and women doctors, women lab technicians and women ANMs will be employed in Dai-Didi clinic trains. With the commencement of this clinic, women workers and women and girls residing in slum areas will get treatment through women doctors near their home.

    This clinic will be operated under the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme. At present, one Dai-Didi clinic for women is being started in three big municipal corporations of the state, Raipur, Bhilai and Bilaspur. In this clinic, along with first aid of women, there will be additional facility for breast cancer screening by women doctor, self breast examination of beneficiaries, regular and special screening of pregnant women etc. This clinic will be set up in the slum area on a predetermined day near Anganwadi in the cities in collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department. Along with this clinic, benefits of various beneficial projects of Women and Child Development Department for pregnant women, children etc. will also be provided.
