    Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the brave soldiers of the country by wishing the people of the country on the victory day. Mr. Baghel has said that on this day in 1971, Indian soldiers won and thousands of soldiers of Pakistan surrendered. Pakistan was partitioned and Bangladesh emerged on the world map. It was a miracle of the determination and mighty leadership of former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi. Indira ji did not get scared, nor let the spirits of the soldiers diminish. The Indian Army, under the direction of Mrs. Indira Gandhi and led by Field Mortal Monek Shaw, showed indomitable courage, sustaining the highest tradition of valor and sacrifice. This victory made every Indian proud. The country will always be indebted to these brave sons.

  • Farmers’ old jute gunny bags will be used to purchase paddy

    Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has decided to use the old gunny bags of farmers for procurement in the Kharif marketing year 2020-21, in view of shortage of gunny bags for the purchase of paddy at the support price. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, today an order has been issued regarding purchase of paddy in old jute gunny bags by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection from the Ministry Mahanadi Bhavan.

    As per the order, various districts of the state including Bemetra, Bijapur, Balod have been requested to use the old gunny bags available with the farmers as an alternative due to lack of old gunny bags for paddy purchase. Keeping this in mind, permission has been given to purchase paddy only in the old jute gunny bags provided by the farmer. The farmer’s sacks will be returned to the farmers after milling, when paddy is used in the purchase. Instructions have been given to the farmers to pay utility fees prescribed by the Government of India for sack use. Permission to use the gunny bags of the farmer in the district can be given by the Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Marketing Federation, based on the proposal received from the collector, keeping in mind the need and circumstances for the specific committees. The old gunny bags provided by the farmer for paddy purchase should be in good condition and of useful quality, in which 40 kg of paddy can be filled.

    Tourism Rath Yatra and Bike Rally started on Ram Vanagman Path from both ends of Chhattisgarh. On completion of two years of government led by Shri Bhupesh Baghel, the journey started from North and South together will cover a distance of 1575 km in 4 days. The two halves of the rally will begin from the two ends of Sitamarhi-Harchauka in North Korea’s Korea district and Ramaram in Sukma district, South, respectively, on the afternoon of 17 December at Chandkuri, the town of Mata Kaushalya, near Raipur.

    Revenue administration plays an important role in the administrative work related to the public in any state. In such a situation, it is the responsibility of the government that people should get the benefits of these services in a simple, accessible and timely manner. After the formation of new government in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, the functioning of revenue administration has been simplified by giving it the highest priority. This simplification process of the state government has brought great relief to the common people who used to visit the offices for years for the small work of their land and property.
    Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, strengthened the Public Service Centers during the last two years as well as several revenue cases including mutation, partition, Nazul land, divergence, batting, registry of small land blocks. Complications of redressal have been simplified, which has greatly facilitated people. Revenue related works of the people are now being done very smoothly and easily, which has benefited the people.
    New revenue administrative units are being formed in this. New sub tehsils, tehsils and sections are being built. After fulfilling the years old demand in the state, Gaurala-Pendra-Marwahi district has been carved out from Bilaspur district, now Chhattisgarh has become a state of 28 districts. New tehsils have been constituted for the revenue works of people in close proximity to their place of residence. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has also launched 23 new tehsils in various districts of the state on 11 November this year. These 23 new tehsils have been formed keeping in view the public convenience in 15 districts of the state.
    Similarly, where people had to go through a complicated process to get caste certificates for their children’s education, the Chief Minister understood the people’s problems and found a permanent solution. Now, the work of providing caste certificate is being done in the state of the parents who have caste certificate as soon as their children are born. Due to this, people no longer need to travel around.

  • Tourism rath yatra and bike rally from both ends of Chhattisgarh begins today

    Ram Van Gaman Path Tourism Rath Yatra and Virat Bike Rally are starting simultaneously from both the north and south ends of the state today. The rally is being organized from December 14 to 17 to mark two years of the tenure of the government headed by Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. This journey lasting 4 days will cover a distance of 1575 kilometers. The rally will begin on December 14 from the two ends of the state at Sitamarhi-Harchaika in North Korea district and Ramaram in Sukma district, south respectively. The two parts of the rally will meet on the afternoon of 17 December in Chandkuri, the town of Mata Kaushalya, near Raipur.
    Starting from Sitamarhi Harchaika, the rally reaching Chandkhuri will travel 164 kilometers from Sitamarhi Harchaika in Koriya district on December 14 to Shivprasad Nagar, the border of Koriya district on National Highway 43. On the second day, on 15 December, 30 kilometers from Shivprasad Nagar in Surajpur district to National Surajpur border near National Highway 16 Lanza, National Highway 16 to National Highway 43 from Lanja to District Surguja border near Guturama, National Highway 43 Guturama From National Raj Marg-1 will cover 20 kilometers to District Jashpur border near Charakapara and 168 kilometers from National Raj Road-1 Charakapara to National Raj Marg 130B, District Raigad border near Chhind. 45 kilometers from National Highway 310 B Chhind to Gidhauri in Balodabazar district on December 16, 03 kilometers from Gidhauri to Shivrinarayan in Janjgir-Champa district, near Gidhauri-Aurai in Balodabazar district on December 17, 61 to District Balodabazar border on Sirpur Road The kilometer will cover a distance of 51 km from Arasai-Nisada in Mahasamund district to the district Mahasamund border and 38 km from Nisda in Raipur district to Arang-Chandkhuri district Raipur border.
