With the efforts of District Administration and Municipal Corporation, the hyacinth of Dalpat Sagar is being cleaned, now paddle boats, boat facilities have provided another center of entertainment in the city. Also, the fishermen committee and women self-help groups have got employment opportunities.
On Wednesday morning, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Mr. Prem Patel enjoyed boating by taking stock of the boating arrangements and wishing the Women’s Group and Fishermen’s Committee to start boating facilities for the general public.

Bhupesh Baghel observes aviation livelihood center
On Wednesday, Bhupesh Baghel visited the Aviva Livelihood Center in Kondagaon. He discussed women with women self-help groups working in various employment oriented activities and got information about their work and encouraged them. Village Industries Minister Guru Rudra Kumar, Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Lok Sabha MP Deepak Badge and MLA Mohan Markam were also present on the occasion. Around 200 women groups are conducting 12 types of livelihood activities in this Udaan Bihan Livelihood Center in Kondagaon. Along with training, employment opportunities are also being provided to women groups here. The women’s group is making food processing, spice manufacturing, cookies, footwear manufacturing, incense sticks, chalk, soap, sanitary trees, iron craft manufacturing, LED bulbs, chudis and cement poles.

Bhupesh Baghel on tour of Kanker district from today, will hand over crores of development works
Bhupesh Baghel will be on a tour of Kanker district on 27 and 28 January. The Chief Minister will hand over development works worth about Rs. 342 crores to the district residents.
According to the program, the Chief Minister will reach Sriguhan in Kanker district at 3.30 pm today by helicopter. He will inaugurate farmers hostel and agricultural college boys hostel and small grain processing unit in the program organized at Krishi Vigyan Kendra Kanker from 4.40 pm.
Along with this, women will discuss with self-help groups. The Chief Minister will leave for Gadiya Pahad at 5.40 pm. They will leave from Gadhiapahad and reach Komaldev District Hospital at 7.15 pm and inaugurate the CT scan machine, they will do night rest in Kanker.

To inaugurate development works worth 342 crores including farmers hostel, boy’s hostel and paddy processing unit
