The state of Chhattisgarh has earned a record registration revenue of Rs 1621.67 crore in the year 2020, despite the Corona crisis. This is 23.28 percent more than the revenue of Rs 1315.46 crore earned in the year 2019. In the current financial year till January 31, one lakh 82 thousand documents have been registered in the state, due to which a revenue of Rs 1087.19 crore has been received as stamp and registration fee.
Keeping in view the convenience of the common man in the state of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the benefit of removing the ban on the sale and sale of small land blocks has been benefited in the registration of documents related to small land blocks in the last two years There has been an increase of almost double. In these two years, one lakh 86 thousand 423 small plots have been given relief to the general public. The government has also benefited from the decision of the government to reduce the rates of market value by 30 percent. During the registration of 17 thousand 112 documents in the last one and a half years, 2 percent concession has been given in the registration of residential buildings. The e-registry process has been simplified for the purchase and sale of properties in the state of Chhattisgarh and an additional network facility has been made available to solve the network problem, so that the parties do not face any inconvenience and registration. Work must be conducted smoothly. Keeping in mind the protection from Kovid-19 infection, provision of online appointment (slot booking) was made for effective adherence to social distancing for safe presence in the registration offices and facilitated the registration work in chronological order.
