  • Bhupesh Baghel will attend the 27th of February at the Karneshwar fair

    Bhupesh Baghel will attend the ‘Karneshwar Mela Festival’ at Sihawa on Saturday 27 February. According to the information received, Shri Baghel will leave from Police Ground Raipur by helicopter at 1.10 pm and reach Deurpara Sihawa in Nagri Tehsil at 1.40 pm. They will attend the ‘Karneshwar Mela Festival’ at Sihawa from quarter to two in the afternoon. After this, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel Deorpara will leave from Sihawa to Dongargarh by helicopter.

  • Gauthan Rural Industrial Park to be developed: Shri Bhupesh Baghel

    Bhupesh Baghel today transferred Rs 4 crore 94 lakh to the account of one lakh 54 thousand 423 cattlemen as the 14th installment of the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. With this, till date 80 crore 42 lakh rupees have been paid to cattle rearers under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. The Chief Minister today transferred the 14th installment to the account of the cattlemen after the cabinet meeting in the committee room of the assembly. He said on the occasion that thousands of people got employment through various activities like mushroom production, poultry production, fisheries, goat rearing, rice mill, kodo-kutki and lac processing in the Gothans of the state, including the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. There is a need to connect women and villagers with employment by conducting more and more economic activities in Gothans. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that by developing the Gouthans as rural industrial parks, we will realize the imagination of Suraji village.
    The Chief Minister said that about 6 lakh quintal vermi compost has been produced by women self-help groups in Gothans. The production of vermi compost will increase further in the coming time. In a few days the production of vermi compost will be 12 lakh quintals. Vermi compost is being produced in 65 thousand vermi stitches in Gothanas. If 20 lakh quintal vermi compost is produced in a year, then the business of vermi compost alone will be Rs. 2 thousand crores. With the Vermi compost, if other economic activities carried out in the Gouthans are included, the size of the trade in the Gouthans will increase further. Mr. Baghel said that women self-help groups should be linked to small forest produce processing activities in Gothanas. He said that active initiative should be taken to sell the manufactured products including vermicompost prepared in Gothan. All departments should coordinate and help develop Gothan.
    On this occasion, Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey said that every 15 days the amount of cow dung is being paid to cattlemen and cow dung collectors under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. An action plan has been prepared in collaboration with other departments including cooperatives for the sale of vermi compost prepared in Gothan. He said that multi-utility centers in Gouthans in all districts and CG Marts should be developed for the sale of manufactured goods. In the Gothanas, 59 thousand 942 women of about 8 thousand women self-help groups are conducting various economic activities. Processing of minor forest produce from Sarguja to Bastar will also be linked to Gothans. He said that where Gauthan committees are active, good work is being done there

The Chief Minister said that by following these measures, till now we have succeeded to a great extent in preventing corona and further by following these measures we will be successful in preventing corona infection.

Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdev said that the testing of passengers arriving at the airport has started. He said that more cases of corona infection are coming up in Durg, Rajnandgaon and Raipur.

  • Road Safety World Series Cricket Tournament in Nava Raipur from March 5: Bhupesh Baghel to inaugurate

    To increase public awareness about the importance of road safety, Road Safety World Series Cricket Tournament is being organized from March 5 to 21 at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Nava Raipur. There will be a total of 15 matches during this period. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate this tournament. Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar reviewed the preparations in the meeting of the Executive Committee in the committee room located in the assembly premises today. Transport Minister Mr. Akbar directed to ensure all necessary preparations including entrance gate, barricet, parking, water, sector wise group assessment, electrical connection, flood light, generator, air condition before March 5.
    Secretary Transport Dr. Kamalpreet Singh informed about the preparations being made for the tournament. He informed that the Corona Guidelines issued by the Government of India will be fully followed in the tournament event. Under this, national and international cricket players will be screened at the airport. Good arrangements are being made for buses and their stay to bring players. A temporary mobile tower will also be installed for communication during the cricket tournament. It was informed at the meeting that the price of tickets in tournaments has been kept in different categories from 500 to 10 thousand rupees. Of these, the general tickets have been fixed at Rs 500, 700, 1100 and 1500 and Golden 6000, Platinum and Silver 8000 and Box 10 thousand.

  • Mobile app for large industrial units proposed in Chhattisgarh to be monitored

    The government has launched a mobile app for monitoring large industrial units proposed in Chhattisgarh. On Monday, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated it in his office hall in the assembly premises. Through the app, industrialists will be able to directly share information about pending applications for consent, consent, registration, no objection from various stages of establishment of their units and institutions.

    Officials of the Department of Industries said that the department has nominated senior officers as Relationship Managers for each unit that performs the MoU. Through these officers, the applications of the units will help in quick execution in various departments.
