  • Kanker and Narayanpur district will get the gift of development works worth 222 crores, Bhupesh Baghel will do virtual inauguration-bhoomipujan

    Bhupesh Baghel will today gift 275 different development works costing Rs 222 crore 34 lakh to Kanker and Narayanpur districts. In a virtual program organized at his Raipur residence office, the Chief Minister will inaugurate 145 works costing Rs 152 crore 59 lakh in Kanker district and 130 construction works costing Rs 69 crore 75 lakh in Narayanpur district.
    In the online program, Baghel will inaugurate 38 works costing Rs 105 crore 23 lakh and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 107 works costing Rs 47 crore 36 lakh in Kanker district. He will also inaugurate 38 works costing Rs 29 crore 56 lakh and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 92 works costing Rs 40 crore 19 lakh in Narayanpur district. He will also interact directly with the beneficiaries of both the districts of various schemes of the state government in the launch-bhoomipujan program organized through video conference from 12 noon.

    Among the development works that Chief Minister Baghel will inaugurate in Kanker district, one work constructed by Public Works Division Kanker at a cost of Rs. one crore 44 lakh, seven works constructed at a cost of Rs. 37 crore 36 lakh under Public Works Division Bhanupratappur, under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Kanker. 11 works constructed at a cost of Rs 21 crore 55 lakh, two works constructed by Agriculture Department at a cost of Rs 84 lakh, two works in Police Department constructed at a cost of Rs 36 lakh, two works in Health Department costing Rs one crore 24 lakh works, three works under Horticulture Department costing Rs 75 lakh, six works under Rural Engineering Services Division constructed at a cost of Rs one crore, one work of Rs 32 crore 70 lakh under District Trade and Industry Center and Agriculture College and Research Center Kanker will inaugurate three development works costing Rs.7 crore 99 lakh.

    In Baghel Kanker district, 37 works costing Rs 11 crore 26 lakh under Public Works Division Kanker, one work costing Rs 9 crore 53 lakh under Public Works Division (bridge construction), five works of Rs 9 crore 87 lakh in Water Resources Department, Four works worth Rs.5 crore 89 lakh under district construction, two works of Rs.2 crore ten lakh under Urban Administration Department, one work of Rs.68 lakh under Agriculture Department, five works of Rs.3 crore 79 lakh under Mandi Board Kanker, Chhattisgarh State He will also do Bhoomi Pujan of 28 works worth Rs. 2 crore 63 lakh under Rural and Other Backward Area Development Authority and 24 works worth Rs. one crore 61 lakh under Forest Department.
    Among the development works that Baghel will inaugurate in Narayanpur district, construction of a bridge from Brehbera to Matadongri at a cost of Rs.7 crore 67 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Rs.3 crore 31 lakh from Schoolpara Koreda to Kohkapara, Rs.2 crore 25 from Nayapara Kukdajhor to Khaspara Sitapal. Rs. 2 lakh, road from Bagdongri Para to Ghotulpara constructed at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 14 lakh, solar dual pump installation work costing Rs one crore 33 lakh under Jal Jeevan Mission, Murhapadar stop dam costing Rs 50 lakh, costing Rs 43 lakh These include restoration work of K Binjali reservoir canal, construction of BT road at Kumharpara police line at a cost of Rs 21 lakh and Atal Samarsata Bhawan constructed at a cost of Rs 19 lakh.

    Kaushalya, a resident of Korba district, had come today to take part in the inauguration-bhoomipujan program of the development works of the district.     Kaushalya Kanwar told that the name of her group is Hare Krishna Self-Help Group. His group has sold earthworm manure for Rs 1 lakh 90 thousand. An income of 15 thousand rupees has been earned from egg production, 24 thousand rupees from the sale of earthworm and 12 thousand rupees from selling pots. He informed that his group is getting good income by joining the economic activities in Godhan Nyay Yojana and Gauthans.
    Congratulating Smt. Kaushalya Kanwar, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that she has implemented the schemes of the government in true sense. The experience he has told is inspiring for the entire state. He told that how employment can be created in the villages itself.

    The process of giving gifts to the districts of Bhupesh Baghel is going on. Today, CM Bhupesh will give crores to Korba and Janjgir-Champa districts.
    CM will do virtual bhoomipujan and inaugurate 265 works worth a total of Rs 226 crore 96 lakh. Of these, 121 development works worth Rs 104 crore in Korba district and 144 development works worth Rs 122 crore 96 lakh in Janjgir-Champa will be given through video conferencing from CM House.

  • All district hospitals and development block level hospitals of the state will be made full of facilities: Bhupesh Baghel

    Bhupesh Baghel has said that in order to ensure easy access to health and medical facilities to the common people, it is necessary that all district hospitals and block level hospitals of the state should be made fully equipped. For this, he has instructed the Chief Secretary to prepare an action plan through all the district collectors within 15 days.
    The Chief Minister has said that in the last 6 months, with a view to strengthen the arrangements for treatment of corona, oxygen related equipment ICU has been provided in these hospitals. There has been a significant increase in the number of beds, ventilators etc. Better maintenance and frequent use of these health equipment is also essential to prepare for a possible third wave of corona. The number of doctors in community health centers has also increased significantly in the last few days, but health management needs to be strengthened further.
    Shri Baghel has said that a plan should be prepared soon for the development of all district hospitals and community health centers in the state. Under this scheme, all the above hospitals have well equipped operation room, labor room, laboratory, ICU. And arrangements should be made to provide facilities like ventilator facility, blood bank, free medicine etc. The Chief Minister said that all these hospitals should have 24-hour treatment facilities. Along with this, efforts should be made to provide post graduate doctors of Pediatrics, Gynecology, Anesthesia, Pathology, Medicine and Surgery in all and where post graduates are not available, arrangements should be made for doctors trained in these subjects. The Chief Minister has instructed to submit the proposal as above, including the required budget, in 15 days through the collectors.

  • Farmer Producer Organization got a turnover of Rs 41 lakh through FPO

    Today, when Bhupesh Baghel was discussing with the beneficiaries of the schemes during the inauguration and foundation stone of the development work of Korea district in the virtual program, during this he also had a discussion with the Director of Farmer Producer Organization Korea, Mr. Fayyaz Alam in the district.
    Mr. Alam told Chief Minister Mr. Baghel that 573 farmers are associated with his Food Production Organization (THV), out of which 72 percent farmers are from tribal community. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, he said that with the help of the Chief Minister, the organization got units like distillation, pulse mill, rice mill, oil mill and milk processing. They are taking their products to the masses through platforms like Khadi India, Tribes India, Khadi Village Industries, Handicrafts Board and Flipkart. Along with this, turmeric, lemongrass, sweet potato coming out of the collective garden are being sold through Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Mr. Alam told the Chief Minister that now his organization aims to achieve a turnover of Rs. 1.5 crore to Rs. 2 crore so that every farmer associated with the organization becomes financially empowered. Mr. Alam thanked Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for his farmer welfare schemes.

  • Milk business got support from Godhan Nyay Yojana: Bhupesh Baghel

    Bhupesh Baghel has said that with the protection and promotion of livestock in the state, the milk production business has got a new impetus due to the Godhan Nyay Yojana. He has said that he has regular discussions with livestock farmers, villagers and farmers, people are very excited about the benefits of this scheme. People doing business of milk say that their income has increased due to the purchase of cow dung through Gaudhan Nyay Yojana. Many milk producing rural farmers have started buying milch cows, building sheds as well as buying motor cycles to increase their dairy business with the extra income from selling cow dung.
    Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that today he had discussions with many farmers of Korea and Surajpur district through video conferencing. Vishnu Prasad, who is doing milk business in Chirmiri, told that he has earned an additional profit of one lakh 33 thousand rupees by selling 650 quintals of cow dung, from which he has bought two milch cows to further his business. He currently has 17 cows. Shri Shivcharan of Korea, who was benefited from Godhan Nyay Yojana, has bought two bullocks and a motorcycle in installment with the benefit of Rs.48 thousand from it. Gita Devi, a resident of Vishrampur, while appreciating the Godhan Nyay Yojana, said that with the income earned from selling cow dung, she is constructing a new shed for the cows to live in. With this income, their daily needs and the fees and other expenses of the daughter studying medical in Raipur have also started being easily managed. Smt. Geeta Devi Singh urged to continue the Godhan Nyay Yojana.
    Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Godhan Nyay Yojana is not just a scheme for purchasing cow dung, it has many benefits. He said that cow rearing, which has been a part of our civilization and culture, has started getting a boost from this scheme. People have become aware about the protection and promotion of cows. Our rural sisters have got employment from cow dung, production of vermicompost, super compost as well as other materials, they have started earning extra income from it. In the state, there has been a ban on cattle grazing in the open and the safety of crops has been ensured. Better arrangements have been made for the livestock along with free fodder and water in the Gauthans. Due to the large scale production of vermi compost and super compost from cow dung, organic farming has started getting a boost in the state. This will reduce the cost of cultivation and improve the fertility of the land.

  • Tree guards and masks made the women of the group self-sufficient

    During the launch of various development works in Korea and Surajpur district by Bhupesh Baghel and during the Bhoomi Pujan program, women of self-help groups working in Gothans and Bihan discussed. Ms. Hina Begum, a member of Ekta Self-Help Group of village Patna of the same group, told the Chief Minister that in the year 2020, 25 thousand masks were manufactured during the lockdown. This mask was sold for around Rs 3 lakh. Due to this the group made a profit of Rs.1.5 lakh. Similarly the women of the group are building tree guards. The group has made a profit of Rs.3 lakhs by selling tree guards worth Rs.12 lakhs. This income is divided amongst all the members. At present also we are doing the work of masks and tree guards. Due to these works, we have become financially strong and our family is also getting help in their livelihood. We thank the government for cooperation through Gauthan and Bihaan. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that Ekta Self-Help Group is doing very good work. Keep working like this and move forward and inspire others too. Chief Minister Shri Baghel informed that the State Government through Forest Department, Horticulture Department has also decided to give work of plantation to the women of the group. This will also provide employment to women and additional benefits from forest produce.

    Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate 368 works costing Rs 460 crore 14 lakh 14 thousand in Surajpur and Korea district in a virtual program organized at his Raipur residence office at 12 noon on Wednesday, June 16. These include inauguration of 187 works costing Rs 184 crore 28 lakh 75 thousand and Bhumi Pujan of 180 works costing Rs 275 crore 85 lakh 39 thousand.

    Chief Minister Baghel will inaugurate-bhoomipujan of 123 different development works worth Rs 244 crore 40 lakh in Surajpur district. These include inauguration of 34 works costing Rs 82 crore 71 lakh and Bhumi Pujan of 89 works costing Rs 161 crore 69 lakh.
    Similarly, Chief Minister will inaugurate 245 development works worth Rs 215 crore 73 lakh 40 in Korea district. These include inauguration of 154 works worth Rs 101 crore 57 lakh 75 thousand and Bhumi Pujan of 91 works worth Rs 114 crore 16 lakh 39 thousand.
