Urban Administration Minister and MLA of Arang Assembly Dr. Shivkumar Dahria joined his residence office online on Friday. He performed bhumi pujan of 3 new access routes worth more than about 2 crore 34 lakhs in the area through video conferencing. Through the Public Works Department, the completion of these roads, constructed at a cost of Rs two crore 34 lakh, will ease the traffic. Minister Dr. Dahria performed bhumi pujan of 1.24 km length access road at village temple Hassaud at a cost of Rs 1 crore 18 lakh, 0.60 km length at Riko and Nakta at a cost of Rs 57.95 lakh. He has said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, development works are being given momentum in the state. Despite Corona, many development works are being approved and completed. This will make it easier for the people living in the village and all others. The doors of development will open. He said that development of villages along with the city is in the priority of his government. In Arang assembly constituency, efforts are being made to complete the works on time by granting approval for continuous development works.

Urban Administration, Development and Labor Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria handed over development works worth crores of rupees to Dongargaon in Rajnandgaon district. Minister Dr. Dahria inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various development works worth Rs 8 crore 71 lakh 50 thousand in Dongargaon. On this occasion, he inaugurated Rs 3 crore 34 lakh 50 thousand and performed bhumi pujan for development works worth Rs 5 crore 37 lakh. He provided a check of Rs 40 lakh 90 thousand to the beneficiaries under various schemes of the Labor Department. Minister Dr. Dahria announced development work of Rs. 1 crore 37 lakh, construction and renovation of various societies. Under the Chief Minister Swavalamban Yojana announced to build 100 city shops in the commercial complex and the Chief Minister’s Palika Bazar in Dongargaon. Under the Rajiv Gandhi Asylum Scheme, lease was distributed to 192 beneficiaries.

He did an old age home in Dongargaon at a cost of Rs 1 crore 25 lakh, Children Park in ward number 2 at a cost of Rs 11 lakh, Nishad Samaj Bhawan at a cost of Rs 13 lakh, Vaishnav Samaj Bhavan at a cost of Rs 10 lakh, Rs 4 lakh. 110 lakh works, including the much awaited maintenance work of the city’s oldest Adarsh Kanya Vidyalaya, were performed under the chairmanship of city MLA Arun Vora’s chief guest and Mayor Dheeraj Bakaliwal. Adarsh Kanya Vidyalaya was formed in 1972 where more than 15 hundred students are studying. Even after 48 years have passed, in the absence of maintenance, the child is suffering from the predicament, here children were forced to study in a panic environment in extremely dilapidated buildings. Ever since the Congress came to power in the state, the work of making the schools on the lines of smart schools started. Under this, during the school inspection of former MLA Arun Vora, the teachers and student students complained about the ever bigger incident showing the leaky roof with shabby rooms and broken tiles.

Bhoomipujan’ for construction of boys hostel performed in Durg
Bhoomipujan’ for construction of Boys Hostel in Government Polytechnic College, Durg has been performed. Durg (urban) MLA Arun Vora and Mayor Dheeraj Bakliwal performed the rituals for the 50-seater hostel which will be constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 190.19 lakh. The rituals for bhoomipujan ceremony of the hostel, warden room and canteen was performed in presence of professors and officers from Public Works Department. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA stated that consistent efforts are being made to provide better facilities to the students, adding that several students are from distant areas who study in the college. He said housing and canteen facilities within the college campus will help in saving time of the students. He also informed that demand have been also made for increasing the number of seats and opening diploma course of GST operation in the college so that students can take benefits of professional course. It is worth mentioning that previously, the MLA had also performed bhoomipujan for construction of 3 rooms with a cost of Rs 73 lakh, which is currently in progress. 50-seater hostel, warden room and canteen to be built in the fort’s polytechnic
Children’s hostel will be constructed at a cost of one crore 90 lakh 19 thousand in the fort of the Government Polytechnic College. After the hostel construction, better accommodation will be available in the campus itself. This will also save students’ time. The MLA told that earlier also Bhumi Pujan was started for the construction of three additional classrooms at the cost of 73 lakhs in the Polytechnic College, which will save their time.

He also performed bhumi pujan for construction of cement concrete road in various villages and construction of culvert on access routes in various villages including Dispensary Bhawan in Village Parasi, Homeo Dispensary Building in Marwahi.
