  • One more step for air connectivity in North Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister did Bhoomi Pujan of upgradation work of Maa Mahamaya Airport in Ambikapur

    Taking another step towards air-connectivity in North-Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today performed Bhoomi Pujan of upgradation work of Maa Mahamaya Airport in Ambikapur at a cost of Rs 44 crore. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the development of Ambikapur, Balrampur, Surajpur, Koriya, Jashpur would not only accelerate due to the start of air services in Surguja, but the development of the entire state would get more momentum. Air connectivity in North Chhattisgarh is not only the dream of the people of Surguja division but of the entire Chhattisgarh. In a virtual program organized at his residence office here today, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel handed over 302 works costing Rs 324 crore 42 lakh to Surguja and Balrampur-Ramanujganj districts. He inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 107 different development works worth Rs 247 crore 91 lakh in Surguja district and 195 development works worth Rs 76 crore 51 lakh 88 thousand in Ramanujganj-Balrampur district.

    On this occasion, Urban Administration and Development Minister and Minister in charge of Surguja district Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Higher Education Minister and Minister in-charge of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district, Mr. Umesh Patel, Home Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu, Health Minister Mr. T.S. Singhdeo, Food Minister Mr. Amarjit Bhagat, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subrata Sahu were present at the Chief Minister’s residence. Parliamentary Secretary Shri Chintamani Maharaj, MLA Shri Brihaspat Singh, Dr. Pritam Ram joined the video conferencing program.

    While addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that with the start of air service, development and tourism will get a boost in the entire Chhattisgarh including Surguja. The journey from Ambikapur to Raipur and Banaras will also become easy. Mr. Baghel said that the people of Bilaspur were also demanding to start air service there for many years. When our government was formed, work was done on a war footing to fulfill his dream. Today the dream of the people of Bilaspur has come true. Air-service has started from Bilaspur’s Bilaspur Airport to Prayagraj, Delhi and Jabalpur. Similarly, there are regular flights from Maa Danteshwari Airport in Jagdalpur to Hyderabad and Raipur. There are also works for further expansion of air facilities.

    A tourism cottage is being built in the memory of Dr. Kheda in the valley of Rajiv Gandhi reservoir on Mungeli’s life line Maniyari river. This tourism cottage will keep the memory of Dr. Prabhudatta Kheda’s Baiga love here and settled here. Bhoomi Poojan MLA Dharmjit Singh and Collector PS Elma jointly did the tourism cottage. He said that tourism cottage is being constructed to make Dr. Kheda’s works memorable. We will always remember him through this. Collector PS Elma also addressed the program and said that MLA Dharmjit Singh has given Rs 20 lakhs from the MLA fund for the tourism cottage. Thank them for this.

  • Bhupesh Baghel gifted works worth 1082.46 crore, benefited from 1051 beneficiary schemes

    At the Kisan Sammelan held on Tuesday at the high school ground in Janjgir, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel handed over 1245 different works worth Rs 1082.42 crore to the district. He benefited 1051 beneficiaries of the district under various welfare schemes. He inaugurated 419 works constructed at a cost of Rs 262.108 crore and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 836 different works worth Rs 820.938 crore. Among the works which were released from the Chief Minister’s work, 18 works of Rs.13.855 crores of Rural Engineering Services Department, one work costing Rs. 1.62 crores by Tribal Development Department, 26 works of Rs. 12.431 crores under Chief Minister’s Village Road Scheme, School Education Department 2 works worth Rs. 2.9 crores, works of Ayurveda Department costing Rs. 27 lakhs, four works of Rs. 5.15 crores of Housing Board, 24 works of Rs. 200 crores of Public Works Department, 8 works of Rs. 3.26 crores of Health Department and Panchayat and Inauguration of 334 works of Rs 22.51 crore of the Rural Development Department is included.

  • New community building to be built in village Bodra, MLA gave 3 lakh

  • Chief Minister will inaugurate and do bhoomi pujan of works worth more than Rs 1083 crore in Janjgir-Champa

    Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development works worth more than Rs 1083 crore at the Kisan Sammelan held on January 05 at the high school ground in Janjgir. Similarly, CREDA has 132 works worth Rs 7.125 crores, 370 works costing Rs 139.420 crores of Public Health Engineering Department, 16 works of Rs 89.045 crores of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and 03 of Rs 3.710 crores of Rural Engineering Services Division.   • Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel handed over 210 works costing Rs. 212 crore to Korea district

    Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today handed over development works worth about Rs 212 crore 35 lakh to the district in a program organized at the Agricultural College Chervapara near District Headquarters Baikunthpur during his stay in Korea district. Mr. Baghel inaugurated 80 construction works costing Rs 68 crore 21 lakh and laid foundation stones for 130 works costing Rs 114 crore 13 lakh.

  • New Assembly Building:New assembly building to be built on 51 acres in front of the ministry, Bhoomi Pujan on 28th

    All major government buildings will be in one place

    Preparations have begun for the assembly building in Nava Raipur. The new assembly building will be constructed on nearly 51 acres of land just opposite Mahanadi Bhavan (Ministry) and Indravati Bhavan (HOD Building). The PWD department has started preparations. The formal Bhumi Pujan is held on 28 August. In fact, there are ministries and HOD buildings in Sector-19 of Nava Raipur. The assembly building will be built in half of this sector. PWD officials said that the engineers are working to design the assembly building and it will be finalized in a day or two. Discussions of building the assembly building in Naya Raipur started during the previous government, But the process has started now. A proposal of about 270 crore rupees has been prepared to construct the new building of the assembly. After its approval, PWD will issue the tender for the construction of the building. The work of building the assembly building will begin by the end of October. The target is to complete it in a maximum of two years. Let us know that the assembly session is starting from Tuesday. During the session, information about the construction of the new building can be given in the House.

    The three-storey building will be constructed
