  • Minister Mrs. Bhendia honored talented tribal students at Veer Mela

    Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia attended the Veer Mela program organized by Sarva Adivasi Samaj in Rajarao plateau of Gurur block on Wednesday. Here, he honored the talented students of tribal society by presenting them with a citation and a logo and wished them a bright future. Mrs. Bhendia also offered prayers at the Devasthal of tribal society.

    Addressing the function, Minister Smt. Bhendia said that Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh has played an important role in the independence of the country. We have to work for the development and progress of society by following their ideals. The state government is with the tribal society and is trying to advance the society. The government has taken many important decisions and plans for the development of society. People are getting benefit of it. She said that the activities for the promotion of various types of livelihood in the Gothans created under the Suraji village scheme are being conducted by women self-help groups, which has changed the economic condition of women. On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Phulodevi Netam, Gundardehi MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad, Kanker MLA and Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Shishupal Sori, Dhamtari MLA Mrs. Ranjana Sahu, Sihawa MLA Mrs. Laxmi Dhruv and other public representatives of the area, including Collector Mr. Janmejay Mahobe People from all tribal communities were present.
