This was stated by the Governor of Indian Red Cross Society Chhattisgarh, Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike in her address during the Governor’s ceremony of Indian Red Cross Society Chhattisgarh held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan today. The Governor gave first prize to Jagdalpur district for outstanding work under Kovid-19, second prize to Dhamtari and Rajnandgaon district and third prize to Balod and Surajpur district.
The Governor said that the Red Cross Society is doing well at the district level. Now, there is a need to expand their services to the development level. Many times in the block level, there is no ambulance available to the citizens, they also need a corpse. He suggested that the Red Cross Society should provide the facility of ambulance and carcass at the development level, urge the MPs and MLAs to cooperate with their fund as and when required.
