4 lakh 26 thousand 366 beneficiaries of the state are being benefited by the Chief Minister Pension Scheme operated under the social assistance program by the Social Welfare Department. The objective of the scheme is to provide support to the elderly, widows and abandoned women and help them to live respectfully. Under the scheme, the age of 60 years or more and widows aged 18 years or above in families with at least one reading index of the self-contained index or deprivation index of the survey list of the Socio-Economic and Caste Census, 2011 in the state. Or after marriage, the abandoned women are given a pension at the rate of Rs. 350 per month. All eligible persons can apply for pension through the concerned Municipality, Nagar Panchayat and Panchayat Raj Institutions free of cost.

4 lakh 73 thousand 338 beneficiaries of the state are being benefited under the social security pension scheme operated by the Social Welfare Department under the social assistance program. Under the scheme, Rs. 350 per month pension is given to the disabled children of 6 to 17 years of age, below the poverty line family of the state, the general disabled and 18 years of age. Under the scheme, children with disabilities of 6 to 14 years who are not studying will not be eligible. Pension can be applied through your village or nagar panchayat.
