The Government of Chhattisgarh has issued administrative approval of Rs 25 crore 15 lakh 17 thousand for the remodeling and lining work of the miners of Kharra Distributor Canal of Tandula Irrigation Project of Berla Development Block of Bemetara District. Administrative approval order has been issued from the Ministry of Water Resources Department, Mahanadi Bhavan. On completion of the works of this project, the regional farmers will get irrigation facility in 4478 hectare area.

One day workshop at Bemetara to promote food processing industries Venture conference on 19 January
To promote food processing industries in the district, the one-day workshop “Udyam Samagam” is being organized at Bemetra on January 19 from 11 am on behalf of the Department of Commerce and Industry. 20 lakh financial assistance to disaster victims
