Members of the Koya-Kutma Samaj of Bastar division met Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today at his residence here under the leadership of Chitrakote MLA Shri Rajman Benzam.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel urged the members of Koya-Kutma Samaj to approve the division-level social community building and museum to save Bastar culture, traditional dances, crafts, historical heritage and archaeological heritage. The Chief Minister assured to consider his demand.
The Chief Minister took information about the availability of rain water in Bastar from the members of the society and also informed about the benefits to farmers and general public from the Bodh Ghat multi-purpose project. He informed that this project will be fully in the interest of the farmer, so that water availability will be maintained throughout the year and dependence on rainwater for agricultural works will be reduced.
Industries Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma, Bastar MP Mr. Deepak Badge, MLA Chitrakote Mr. Rajman Benzaman, Koya-Kutma Samaj Divisional President Mr. Samaru Karma, State General Secretary Congress Mrs. Rukmani Karma, District President Congress Mr. Balram Maurya and members were present on the occasion.
