  • Chhattisgarh: This hospital is taking cash from the patient admitted with Ayushman card

    The matter is of private hospital in Kharora. A woman reached Kanha Hospital in Kharora for delivery, where the woman gave birth to a child through operation. After 6 days, the woman was to be discharged from the hospital, then Rs 21000 was demanded from the woman’s husband. The matter of non-discharge for non-payment of money was said by the hospital management.

    While the complete treatment of the woman was done under the Ayushman card. According to which the patient does not have to pay any amount and the government bears all the expenses under the said Ayushman scheme.

    The victim has complained about this whole matter by calling 104. Hospital manager Jitendra Sahu said that for the operation, Rs 16000 is available from the Ayushman card and it is not possible to do the delivery operation for Rs 16000. The manager said that you can go to Krishna Hospital in Kharora and see there, we take 40,000 rupees, we are treating them for less.

    On the other hand, the patient’s family member Jayaprakash Verma said that I do not care only about my money, I will get my money back by complaining, but this injustice should not be done to those who do not know about it. That is why they are demanding action against the said hospital.

  • Ayushman card will be made free in these 10 states including Chhattisgarh

    The “Aapke Dwar Ayushman” campaign is beginning in Chhattisgarh from March 1. Under this, Ayushman card will be made by campaigning all over the state. According to the data of the Health Department, more than 65 lakh families in the state will get its benefits from this campaign. For this, beneficiaries can contact the nearby Choice Centers.
    Ayushman cards will be made free in all the Choice Centers in the campaign which runs from March 1 to March 31. Collectors have been given the responsibility of monitoring the campaign for any disturbances. Apart from this, the District Panchayat CEO will supervise the campaign by setting up teams at their level.
    After the signing of the MoU between the National Health Authority and the Common Service Center on 18 February 2021, Ayushman card is now being made free in 10 states and union territories of the country including Chhattisgarh. Which includes Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Tripura, Nagaland, Chandigarh and Puducherry etc.
