Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Guru Rudra Kumar released a poster prepared to make people aware about pure drinking water at his residence office Satnam Sadan today. It is noteworthy that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the state government has started a campaign to provide pure drinking water to the people of Mohati-Mohati, Kuria-Kuria. Apart from this, a target has been set to provide pure drinking water to all the schools of the state. People are also being made aware to wash hands with soap before eating food and after defecation. Work is also being done towards the availability of 55 liters of water per person. They are making rural women aware to do water testing at the local level through field test kits. On this occasion, Director of Jal Jeevan Mission Shri S. Prakash, Chief Engineer, Public Health Engineering Department, Shri T.G. Kosaria and Additional Mission Director Shri A.K. Sahu was present.
