<p>The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has extended the final date for registration for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET). The initial deadline of October 6th has been pushed to October 30th. Candidates who have not yet applied are encouraged to register on the official website, jpsc.gov.in, following the revised schedule. The examination is conducted to appoint assistant professors in universities and colleges within Jharkhand. The last date for fee submission is October 31st at 5 PM. Registered candidates can also make corrections to their application forms from November 1st to November 3rd, up to 5 PM.</p>

<p>Bihar&#8217;s Health Minister, Mangal Pandey, announced that the recruitment process for 1800 vacant positions of assistant professors in the state&#8217;s medical colleges will commence in the next two to two and a half months. The government doctors will now be posted at locations of their choice. The announcement was made during a distribution of appointment letters to 694 newly appointed senior medical officers and medical officers at the Urja Auditorium in Patna. Present at the event were senior officials from the health department, including the Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department, Pratyay Amrit, the Secretary of the Department, Manoj Kumar Singh, and the Executive Director of the State Health Committee, Suharsh Bhagat. Minister Pandey highlighted that the Bihar government has distributed appointment letters to approximately 1400 doctors in the last ten days, a record in itself, aiming to address the shortage of doctors in the state. He also mentioned that the State Health Committee has initiated the recruitment process for Ayush doctors, which will be completed soon. Furthermore, 7468 ANM nurses were recently appointed, with 7300 already having joined. The Bihar government is also set to appoint 4500 CHOs in the next one and a half months. The Minister expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for their support in strengthening Bihar&#8217;s medical infrastructure, emphasizing the commitment to providing adequate resources. He urged healthcare professionals to serve patients with dedication, discipline, and compassion. Additional Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit welcomed the newly appointed doctors, urging them to serve patients with empathy. He referenced a recent unfortunate incident at PMCH, emphasizing the need to prevent such recurrences. Amrit also acknowledged the significant development of Bihar&#8217;s healthcare infrastructure while acknowledging the need for further improvements and congratulated Minister Mangal Pandey on his long tenure as Bihar&#8217;s Health Minister.</p>
