  • Mahagathbandhan against Congress? AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal asks not to vote for Congress in Lok Sabha polls

Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Chief, for the first time has delivered a right statement with his all senses in control. The man, who otherwise opens his mouth to talk all possible nonsense, has given a right advice to people this time. Knowing or unknowingly Arvind Kejriwal has grabbed every eye attention over him for the right words. Well, this advice is a must to be known.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal warned people against voting for the Congress party even as speculations are rife that AAP is in touch with the grand old party for a tie-up for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls! Well, we do hope people take your words serious and think about it, don’t we?

The Delhi CM requested people not to vote for Congress and this can harm them in return. “Don’t vote for the Congress at all, if you vote for the Congress it will strengthen Narendra Modi. Let not your vote split and give all seven MP’s to the AAP,” the Aam Aadmi Party chief declared while addressing a speech.

The AAP and the Congress have no doubt made up all clear intentions to stop the BJP in 2019 parliamentary elections, with every possible tactic. But these joint tactics do not seem to be up to the mark as, both the parties are yet to sought differences among them. And without that a joint venture would definitely not succeed. Yes, we all know it is all against one man who is grabbing all the positive attention alone, defeating him is a nightmare come true!

Senior AAP leader Gopal Rai said recently said that political affairs committee of the party will take a call on alliance considering views of leaders and workers from Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana, after January 15.
Ajay Maken, who was critical of his party’s alliance in Delhi with the AAP has resigned as the Delhi Congress president, while senior party leader and former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit maintained that national leadership will take a decision about a tie up for 2019 and she will abide by it.

This open request from the AAP Chief himself has made a clear declaration to all who have been expecting an alliance among the two parties. Kejriwal’s appeal to voters not to vote for the Congress means that the AAP is ultimately ready to take an independent plunge in the coming parliamentary polls. Will this result in a positive turn out or a negative one? We are yet to be known. However, it has quite clear that the Lok Sabha polls ahead is definitely an interesting fight to watch.

  • Delhi CM attacked with chilli powder in secretariat: Officials

A man flung chilli powder at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal outside his office in the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday, an attack the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) described as “politically motivated”.

The man, Anil Kumar, who has been detained, was targeting the bespectacled chief minister’s eyes, officials said.

His spectacles broke but his eyes seemed to have been spared any damage, they added.

Kumar, whose Aadhaar card has been recovered, brought the chilli powder to the secretariat in packets of ‘khaini’, or chewing tobacco, they said.

After throwing red pepper powder on Kejriwal, Kumar threatened to shoot him after he comes out of jail, an official recounted.

The attack took place outside the chief minister’s chamber on the third floor when he was leaving for lunch.

While AAP spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj accused the BJP, leader of the saffron party’s Delhi unit Manoj Tiwari condemned the attack and called for a “high-level” probe.

According to Bhardwaj, the attack happened at the chief minister’s office, which is a “high-security” zone. He said it was a serious matter and termed the attack “politically motivated”.

“The BJP is behind the attack and the accused are being aided by the Modi government,” Bhardwaj alleged.

The Delhi BJP chief said such incidents “cannot be tolerated or justified by anybody”.

“This calls for a high-level probe,” Tiwari said.

Officials close to Kejriwal accused the Delhi Police of being lax in providing him  security and alleged that this was the third attempt to harm him in less than a month.

The AAP alleged that water bottles were thrown at Kejriwal by Tiwari at the inauguration ceremony of Signature Bridge earlier this month.

“Around the time of Dussehra, an unidentified man had barged inside Kejriwal’s residence and had tried to attack the CM,” Bhardwaj added.
