In a bold move to capture India’s booming tech market, Apple Inc. will unveil its sixth retail store on February 26 in Mumbai’s Borivali area. This addition makes it the second outlet in the financial capital, reflecting surging consumer demand and the company’s strategic investments.

Inspired by the iconic ‘More’ tree, the store’s architecture echoes designs from successful outlets in Bengaluru, Pune, and Noida. This thoughtful element evokes a sense of optimism, innovation, and forward-thinking—core values that resonate deeply with Apple’s global identity.

The store swings open its doors at 1 PM, promising an immersive experience for shoppers, entrepreneurs, and professionals alike. Beyond sales, it offers hands-on access to cutting-edge products and personalized consultations from Apple specialists, creatives, and Genius team members.

Don’t miss the complimentary ‘Today at Apple’ workshops, designed to empower users with skills in photography, video editing, coding, and more. These sessions have transformed stores into vibrant learning hubs worldwide, and Borivali is poised to follow suit.

Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, recently celebrated India as a powerhouse during the Q1 earnings discussion. From October to December, the nation delivered unprecedented revenue, fueled by double-digit growth across emerging regions. Cook noted the December opening of the fifth store and excitement for this latest venture.

India’s 2025 performance has exceeded expectations: iPhone shipments jumped 24%, iPads grew by 2%, and the iPhone 16 series dominated with a 57% market share within Apple’s lineup, marking it as the year’s top performer.

This expansion comes amid Apple’s deepening ties with India, including boosted local production. As competition heats up, Apple’s premium stores position it as the go-to for aspirational buyers seeking quality and ecosystem integration.
