  • Preparation of Kovid-19 vaccination started in the district, district level training completed in the presence of Collector Shri Rathore

    In order to vaccinate Kovid-19 in the district, health workers were given district-level Kovid-19 vaccination training by the Health Department under the guidance of Collector Shri SN Rathore at Amritdhara in development block Manendragarh. In this, information was given about the precautions to be taken while maintaining and vaccinating the medicine.
    During the training, Collector Shri Satyanarayan Rathore informed that vaccination will be done during the first phase by creating a mutual synergy between all the departments. He said that instructions have been given to use masks and sanitizers during vaccination of Kovid vaccine to prevent corona infection. During this time it is more important to follow social distance.
    CMHO Dr. Rameshwar Sharma said during this period that “In the first phase, from physicians, Anganwadi employees, Mitanins, health workers, ICDS employees, nursing staff will be vaccinated. A total of 5 thousand 782 corona warriors are to be vaccinated during the first phase in the district, for which a micro plan has been prepared. In this, 1 thousand 468 health care workers, 1 thousand 365 Anganwadi workers, 2 thousand 682 Mitaninins, 124 of NHM and 117 of nursing colleges and 26 employees of ICDS are to be vaccinated. For vaccination, about 240 people will be deployed in a total of 48 session centers.
    District Immunization Officer Dr. S.S. Singh gave information about maintenance and care of medicine in training. He told that the medicine has to be kept in minimum two and maximum eight degree temperature. A total of 24 cold chain stores have been set up in the district for Kovid vaccination, out of which 01 vaccine collection center, 18 cold chain points and 05 new cold chain points have been set up at the district level. The health department provided training to health workers for maintenance and vaccination of Kovid-19 vaccine as per the government’s guide line. DPM Ranjana Packra informed that 01 district hospital, 05 community health center, 30 primary health center, 01 urban health center, 188 SHC, 08 private nursing homes and 03 SECL in health facilities for the population of the district up to 6 lakh 56 thousand. K operates the hospital. In case of vaccination, the data of health workers will be uploaded on the Kovid portal immediately along with the hard copy, so that there is no delay in vaccination.
    According to the guidelines given by the Ministry of Health, the Health Department is engaged in the first phase campaign as part of its upcoming strategy. All BMOs, BETOs and BPMs and health officers were present during the training.
