  • Poll talks: Nitish Kumar to meet Akhilesh, Mamata in a bid to realise opposition unity

    Express News Service

PATNA: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar is expected to meet Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee for holding talks relating to forging a broader opposition front ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

Sources claimed that Nitish along with JD (U) national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh would leave for Lucknow by a special plane to meet Akhilesh on Monday. Similarly, he is also likely to meet Mamata in Kolkata on Tuesday.

Nitish is looking confident about the opposition unity with Congress on board after his recent ‘meaningful’ discussions with the opposition leaders including Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Delhi chief minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, CPI (M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury and CPI general secretary D Raja in New Delhi.

From the meetings, it has emanated that Nitish will hold discussions with leaders of various regional parties like TMC, Samajwadi Party, K Chandrashekar Rao’s BRS, Mamata Banerjee’s TMC, and Kejriwal’s AAP, BJD and YSRCP. It has also been decided to field a single opposition candidate against BJP in the 2024 election to improve the victory chances.

It is interesting that Nitish will be meeting the West Bengal chief minister despite Mamata’s outbursts against Congress following the TMC defeat in the Sagardighi by-election. Mamata had termed the victory of the Congress at Sagardighi by-elections as “immoral”, alleging that the Congress, besides the CPI (M), had entered into an understanding with the BJP to defeat her party in the election.

Despite Congress and TMC having bitter verbal duels in the past, Nitish can still hope of taking TMC on board by using his persuasive skills. “Nitish has a good relationship with both Congress and TMC and in such a situation, he can definitely succeed in at least creating a workable relationship between both parties in view of the huge electoral challenge likely to be posed by the BJP election once again in the 2024 Lok Sabha election,” a political analyst said.

Nitish has a long experience working with leaders of both Janata Parivar and also with former NDA allies such as TDP and TMC. In such a situation, Nitish can make valuable contributions in the drive to bring as many opposition parties on one platform before the next parliamentary election.

On the other hand, Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav had met with Mamata in Kolkata for holding discussions on creating a third front comprising non-BJP and non-Congress parties. It is in complete contrast to Nitish`s repeated emphasis on taking Congress on board for countering BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha election. His oft-repeated contention is that there will be only the main front comprising Congress against BJP.

Later, Mamata had also gone to Odisha and held a meeting with her counterpart Naveen Patnaik. Similarly, JD (S) leader HD Kumaraswamy had met with Mamata in Kolkata followed by the TMC leader`s call to Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin.

  • Akhilesh-Shivpal bonhomie talk of the town; but its longevity depends on Mainpuri bypoll results

    Express News Service

LUCKNOW: The bonhomie between Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and uncle Shivpal Yadav, who owns Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party-Lohia  (PSPL), is there for everyone to watch and feel as both can be seen sharing each and every frame during the party’s ongoing by-poll campaign in Mainpuri.

Shivpal figures prominently among 40 star campaigners of SP seeking votes for Mainpuri SP candidate Dimple Yadav who has been fielded by the party to take over the legacy of Mulayam Singh Yadav whose demise necessitated the by-poll in the parliamentary segment.

Victory in Mainpuri, a traditional Mulayam bastion since 1996, is associated with the pride of SP. The stakes of the party are high as the ruling BJP is also making efforts to grab the seat by fielding Shivpal’s close aide Raghuraj Shakya.

BJP has already shocked SP by snatching away Azamgarh and Rampur Lok Sabha seats at bypoll in June, this year.

Even Akhilesh has gone out of his way to fortify his battle by reaching out to estranged uncle Shivpal knowing well his significance in Mainpuri after Mulayam Singh Yadav. In fact, Shivpal enjoys a respectable clout among Mulayam supporters who feel that Shivpal has been betrayed by Akhilesh.

However, political pundits and SP rivals are wondering if the new-found bonhomie between Akhilesh and Shivpal will survive the test of times.

“It will be clear after the Mainpuri bypoll if the two will go hand-in-hand into the UP civic polls and also into 2024 Lok Sabha elections,” says Prof AK Mishra, a prominent political scientist.

The bonhomie between Akhilesh and Shivpal assumes significance as both have been sharing an oblique relationship with each other since 2016. The differences rose to such an extent that Shivpal parted ways with SP and floated his own PSPL in 2018. He even contested 2019 Lok Sabha elections against SP and became a reason for the defeat of SP candidates in a lot of constituencies.

The political analysts see an uncanny resemblance in Akhilesh Shivpal ties at present and the alliance which they had struck in the run-up to the 2022 assembly polls in UP. However,  Akhilesh has struck that alliance with SHivpal on his own terms sparing just one seat for him and compelling him to contest from Jaswantnagar on SP symbol.

Later, after the results, the ties between the two ended on a bitter note when Shivpal accused Akhilesh of ignoring him.

At present, the SP chief also realises the significance of putting up a united face of the family to ensure the victory of Dimple Yadav.

“The longevity of ties between Akhilesh and Shivpal will depend on the victory of Dimple. If she wins, the ties will remain intact, otherwise they may go sour again,” says Prof Mishra.

On the other, SP insiders believe that this time the equation will last. “We have understood BJP’s tactic and a solution to it has now been found,” said a senior SP leader adding that this was just the beginning and the 2024 Lok Sabha polls would see the ‘return of a united SP’ in a big way.

The BJP looks at the development as mere optics in wake of the by-poll and described the reconciliation between Akhilesh and Shivpal as “opportunistic” only for the Mainpuri elections. The BJP leadership feels that every time there is an election, Akhilesh remembers Shivpal and throws him away after accomplishing his mission.

Shivpal is also walking an extra mile to keep nephew in good humour. After joining the SP star campaigners, Shivpal has thrown his weight behind Dimple’s candidature calling upon the Mainpuri voters to ensure the victory of the eldest daughter -in-law of Yadav clan.

Recently, while sharing the stage with nephew during a public rally, when Akhilesh touched his feet, Shivpal took to twitter to put an emotional post saying he would never betray Akhilesh Yadav like he never betrayed ‘Netaji’ (Mulayam Singh Yadav) whom he worked closely with and learnt the tricks of politics.

However, this warming up would be put to real test in upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 when Shivpal would want his pound of flesh expecting Akhilesh to reciprocate by giving enough political space to him, his son Aditya and his loyalists who stood beside him in his lean days.

  • Not interested in attending Yogi’s swearing in ceremony: Akhilesh

    Express News Service

LUCKNOW: Amid preparations for the swearing-in ceremony of UP CM-designate Yogi Adityanath scheduled for March 25 going on war footing, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav , on Monday, made it clear that he won’t be attending the event.

While talking to media persons, the SP chief said that he was not interested in attending the swearing –in ceremony. “Neither I think I will be invited nor I am interested in attending the swearing-in ceremony of UP CM – designate Yogi Adityanath on March 25,” said Akhilesh adding that his only suggestion to the UP government was that the dispensation should not lie to the people of UP anymore.

In recently concluded assembly elections, SP raised its tally from 47 to 111 and took it to 125 along with its ally but failed to form the government as the ruling BJP secured two-third majority  by winning 255 seats on its own and 273 along with its allies.

The new government in Uttar Pradesh, led by Yogi Adityanath, will take the oath of office at 4 pm on March 25 at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee stadium in the state capital. The ceremony will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and home minister Amit Shah along with the CMs of BJP ruled states and otherdignitaries.

Meanwhile, the BJP sources  confirmed that the party had made an extensive list of over 200 VVIP guests including former CM  Akhilesh Yadav, SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav , BSP chief and former UP CM Mayawati, along with Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi and AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, to be invited to the swearing-in ceremony.

Earlier in the day, the SP chief  went on a surprise visit to his parliamentary constituency of Azamgarh and met party’s newly  elected MLAs at nine-time winner from Azamgarh Sadar and former UP minister Durga Prasad Yadav’s house.

Samajwadi Party has won all the 10 assembly segments falling in Azamgarh district where the BJP drew a blank in recently concluded Assembly elections. As per the highly placed SP sources, Akhilesh Yadav held a meeting of his party’s Azamgarh  legislators for half an hour to get their point of view over resigning from one of the two positions – either as Azamgarh MP or Karhal MLA—in the days to come. Akhilesh has done his assembly election debut from Karhal in his bastion of Mainpuri winning the seat with a margin of around 60,000 votes.

Earlier, in Karhal, Akhilesh had told his voters that  final decision over retaining the Karhal seat or  Azamgarh Lok Sabah seat would be taken only after consulting his Azamgarh supporters.

The SP sources also speculated that Akhilesh may retain Azamgarh and quit Karhal seat as SP had only five member in Lok Sabha and if Akhilesh quit Azamgarh, it would bring his party’s tally down by one in lower house of parliament.

Similarly, party MP from Rampur, who has won from Rampur assembly seat in recently concluded assembly polls, is expected o retain his parliamentary seat quitting assembly segment in order to maintain party strength  in Lok Sabha.

The Thakur army of Congress leader, Ameesh Thakur, is being accused of spreading violence in Gujarat. After a rape of a 14-month-old girl allegedly by a person working in a Gujarat state of Bihar, violence spread in other parts of the state spread like a fire in the forest.
To spread this flame in Bihar after Madhya Pradesh, Bihar’s Congress in-charge Shakti Singh Gohil, who is from Gujarat, has left his three-day visit to Bihar to go to protect his junior colleague, Ameesh Thakur and his colleagues. .

Gohil blamed the BJP and the Sangh Parivar for violence and Vijay convicted the Rupani government. But when asked about the role of Thakur Army, he said that neither Ampeesh Thakur nor his Thakur organization was involved in attacks on North Indians.
Gohil was in Muzaffarpur and wherever he went, he was asked questions about the attacks in Gujarat.
Gohil said that Gujarat was “for all” and people of Bihar were a property for the state and the alleged role of Alappesh Thakur has troubled them.
J.D. (U) leader K.C. Tyagi demanded immediate arrest of Alupesh Thakur and ban on Thakur army, he accused Congress of spreading hatred against North Indians. JD (U) General Secretary asked the Congress high command to remove Alpesh and Gohil from Bihar’s responsibilities and prevent them from going to the state.
On October 3, a mob allegedly involved in the members of the Thakur community engaged in barbarity in the Chandlodiya area of Ahmedabad, which demanded the people of northern India to leave the city.
On September 28, a 14-month-old girl was allegedly raped in a village near Himmatnagar town of Sabarkantha district, about 100 km from Ahmedabad. The victim belonged to the Thakur community.
The PTI report said that after being awarded the rape accused Bihar, the Kshatriya Thakur army said that the workers of other states should not be given jobs in Gujarat.
Thakur claimed that he had never asked the Kshatriya army to join the violence or to attack the Gujratis.
The case of escaping from Gujarat, the Congress leader has been accused of violence – the issue of threatening the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in Gujarat is becoming increasingly prominent. On the one hand, while BJP and JDU have blamed the Congress for this, the Congress has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to answer the matter. In the meantime, there are many allegations of inciting violence against Congress legislator, Amaresh Thakore.
JD-U wrote a letter to Rahul Gandhi and JD Spokesperson Neeraj Kumar on Monday wrote to the Congress president in a letter that on one side you nominate his legislator, Amrishesh Thakore, co-incharge of the Bihar Congress and on the other side his army is’ Gujarat Kshatriya The Thakor army is firing people from Bihar from Gujarat. He said in the letter, “The development that is being seen in Gujarat today is not only the result of the blood and sweat of people of the whole country but also of Bihari.
On this case, the videos of Alappesh Thakur have also come out, in which they are telling the outsiders responsible for the crime, while UP is also responsible for Bihar people for rising unemployment.
The BJP said, Congress behind the Gujarat violence- BJP has said Congress is responsible for the violence of Gujarat. Senior party leader Giriraj Singh said that it is a conspiracy of Congressional conspiracy. He said that the people of Congress are engaged in breaking the whole country. Giriraj said that everything is being done by the army of Alpesh. In the same place, Patir leader Hardik Patel also condemned the incident and demanded that criminals should be given a severe punishment.
JD Spokesman targeted Congress, said that MLA Alappus is constantly rallying venom against North Indians, rallies, but Congress is not able to take disciplinary action against them.
    Claim to be constantly migrating
Let us know that after the incident of rape from a 14-year-old girl in Gujarat, people from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are being targeted, due to which the people of northern India are fleeing from Gujarat. Shyamsingh Thakur, President of North India Development Council, a organization of migrant workers, claimed that earning two rakes from UP and Bihar has forced more than 50,000 people who went to Gujarat to flee.

  • Editorial :- Now after the Buoyant Bubua, Kejriwal has also appealed to the Maha coalition that the Congress should not vote for Congress.

Another news is that Sharad Pawar has also announced that he will not be a candidate for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
NCP President Sharad Pawar does not consider the imagination of the Maha coalition as practical. He believes that due to the strength of the regional parties, the alliance does not appear to be practical. Pawar’s political experience and foresight show clearly in his statement.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived in Lucknow on Sunday, said that there was a fight between Congress and SP. Both should be self-contemplated. He said that only Modi can not be formed in the name of opposition.
    Political Coalition General Agreement:
It has been rightly said that before Maha coalition, the Congress is ready for the ‘Mahabharata’, how will the ‘obstacle-race’
At present, making the Maha coalition for the Congress is seen in the same way as the winning of the 2019 Lok Sabha election on its own.
The big question is, to stop Modi, will TMC and Leftists in West Bengal forget about mutual rigging and come along with the Congress? Will the coalition of DMK and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, Lalu-Nitish in Bihar, Akhilesh-Mayawati in UP and non-Congress regional parties in other states be realized?
Will the Congress and the Left parties fight together against the BJP in Lok Sabha elections? This kind of question is standing in front of Modi phobia leaders. Regarding the states of Bihar, Andhra, Telangana etc.
Strong Opposition in democracy is necessary but will not just become a great coalition in the name of Modi’s opposition, the Maha-coalition to create a situation of a coalition or a civil war.
I would like to discuss this in connection with the secularism of the Congress and the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty. Pandit Nehru, having his polymorphic form, became the Prime Minister by dividing the country.
After that, he started dreaming in his heart to make his only daughter, Indira Gandhi as the Prime Minister, and in this sense, he started preparing Indira ji (Brahmeshwar). For this purpose, he kept Indira ji separate from her husband, Feroz Ghandhi and kept her with him.
Some developments happened that Lal Bahadur Shastri became the Prime Minister. But it neglected the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty. After that Shastri ji was mysteriously murdered in Tashkent. I have discussed this in detail in my book: SadhyabdadgathahlAlhidhaddhadhartha Chhagdatha 111966
    Dahlhalshhhh: // Pathhaashishmadhyam.DesignsDr.Dh.Debstath/AdhashashadMy? Dabidhyadthth = 9 350878453
After Shastri’s death, Russian KGB and Indira ji became the Prime Minister with the help of their leftist Lobby.
After his death Pranab Mukherjee was the Prime Minister, but under a conspiracy Rajiv Gandhi was made the Prime Minister.
After the death of Rajiv Gandhi, the alliance’s alliance began as the Congress had lost the absolute majority.
Narasimha Rao became the Prime Minister but the leaders of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty devotee Congress kept stammering.
In this way, we see that there is a Congress in the key point of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty, and no member of the Congress and Gandhi dynasty would ever wish that the Congress President or the Prime Minister of India would become second.
This is the reason that in the compulsion, the Congress could have made someone else like Devgowda, Inder Kumar Gujral as the Prime Minister with his external support, but his rule could not last more than a year. This is what happened to his predecessor Chandra Shekhar and others.
Now again discuss the current situation, then the scene of Mahabharata is present before us.
Both Duryodhana and Pandav reached Sri Krishna to get their help. Shri Krishna told both of them that both of them are dear to him. Both of them will not disappoint. On one hand I am myself and on the other side is my very own army. Dudhaydan asked what he wants? Duryodhana sought army from Tattak. The Pandavas happily asked Shri Krishna Ji. The result is what we all know about.
The war of Mahabharata is still being decorated in the field of Kurukshetra in 2019. On one hand, there are Brahmins with their army and with Pandava on the other side with their army. Pandavas, that is, the BJP, ie NDA, is associated with Shri Narendra Modi as Shri Krishna and on the other hand ….
Alliances and alliances are standing Tutukki imposed. Both the UPA and the NDA have formed their own coalition. But the Congress, which is leading the UPA, is in the process of making a grand alliance. I have already talked about how he is losing fame.
Pawar is misguided. Lalu is in jail. Other leaders of the main coalition are on the Bell. The prison is ready to go.
Rahul Gandhi wants to become the Prime Minister of Yen-Ken. For this, he has made the International Coalition with the help of India’s enemy China and Pakistan.
The manner in which the jackal sees himself as a lion, it is the same story of Rahul Gandhi. They became polynomials, like Hindu Hindu Nehru, with heart, as a Muslim and an Englishman, he kept a pundit in front of his name, in the same way, Rahul is now nominated as a Narmada devotee after Ram and Shivbhak in his poster in Madhya Pradesh elections.
Democracy vs. Familyism has taken the form of the Lok Sabha election of 2019. There is a democratic BJP on the one hand and on the other side there are non-democratic family parties. W

  • Editorial :- Andhaanukaran, Andhabhakti Ya Kisee Vyakti Vishesh ke Prati Pakshapaat Desh ke Liye Kis Prakaar se Ghaatak ho Sakata Hai?

Some subjects may be important for research for doctoral students. How can bias towards blindness, blindness or any particular person be fatal for the country? Some discussions have been made in this editorial.

Mahatma Gandhi gave the mantra of non-violence to the world. It is also the view of most people that even behind India’s freedom there is a mantra of non-violence. It may also be said that the reason for the split of two pieces of India in 1947 is also the plea of appeasement.

Mahatma Gandhi is not only a Congress in India but all political parties and social institutions value the priesthood of non-violence. Mahatma Gandhi has got recognition not only in India but throughout the world that he has given the chanting of non-violence. But the strange thing is that do not these countries behave against non-violence?

The competition to unveil the statues of Mahatma Gandhi is not only in India, but also abroad, whether it is Australia or London. It seems that in the world this message is being given that there is no one more than Mahatma Gandhi in India.

Even in India, it was a strange contest of respecting Mahatma Gandhi that during Congress rule he was given the address of the Father of the Nation. While Mahatma Gandhi was a son of Bharat Mata.

In the character of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Nehru, there was a difference in land skies. The character of Mahatma Gandhi is not a Western but a symbol of Indianness. He himself has interpreted this as how Pandit Nehru’s character was.

He had said that he was born in a Hindu family, Muslim from culture and English from education.

This character remained for his only power. They kept pundits in front of their names to attract most of the Hindus to express themselves to Hindus. They were Kashmiri Pandits.

Immediately imitating them, now the son of Firoz Khan grandson and Christian Sonia Gandhi’s son, Pandit Rahul Gandhi, appeared in the poster of Congress for power in Madhya Pradesh elections. After Ram Bhakt and Shiva devotee, now Pandit Rahul Gandhi becomes a priest of Narmada, appearing in Congress posters in Madhya Pradesh

Pandit Nehru kept the cap on his head with a view to attracting Hindus. This type of polypropylene Rahul Gandhi is also trying to mislead people.

To say this is that the character of Mahatma Gandhi and Pandit Nehru was contrary to each other, but still Mahatma Gandhi kept obeisance towards blind faith and indifference to Pandit Nehru.

One example of this is that at one time when the election of the Congress president was taking place, almost all the Congress Committee had taken the side of Vallabh Bhai Patel. But Mahatma Gandhi forced Kripalani to withdraw his name by putting pressure on him.

Was this Mahatma Gandhi done for nationwide? This should also be the subject of research.

In this editorial I think it is necessary to discuss Vallabh Bhai Patel in particular.

Mahatma Gandhi was also universally recognized throughout the tenure of all India and also during the reign of Atal-Modi. But Vallabh Bhai Patel specially and Subhash Chandra Bose and other commentators are also being given the importance of time from time to time in the reign of Modi. it is reasonable.

In this editorial it is being raised that why is not the importance of the Congress and the Modi government due to the contribution of VL Bhai Patel along with his elder brother V. Bhai Patel?

The second one is another. The Congress has been worshiping day and night that nobody has given the sacrifice that the Nehru-Gandhi family has given.

Any murders, especially of political murder, can be of anybody; it is very sad and it is very damaging to the country. The killing of Indira Gandhi is also a similar incident. It is worth noting that India’s army was being sent to protest against Bhinderwala in the Dharmasthal Golden Temple in India. The body of a murderer Indira Gandhi was made by Bodyguard. The assassination of Rajiv Gandhi was sent against India’s army against the LTTE running in Sri Lanka. He was also murdered for this reason.

It should be discussed day and night. But who was the 26,000 martyr soldiers of the Azad Hind Fauj? Why they were martyred?

Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, whose martyr is martyred for Kashmir, whose blood is painted by his blood?

Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was martyred for the golden future of the country.

Why does not all these discussions happen in the same way? While the killers of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi have been convicted, but did Mukherjee, Deendayal’s killers get punishment? In this, we can add another name, whose conspiracy was behind the murder of Subhash Chand Bose?

Political thinkers believe that in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, the Congress will force how to oust BJP from power there, while BJP will try to snatch Mizoram from Congress so that its dream of ‘Congress free India’ Possible.
In Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, it will not be easy for BJP to overcome the challenge of the upper classes versus SC / ST, OBC. Some analysts believe that there is no alternative to Narendra Modi in terms of political face and so far the opposition has not been united. It will also have an impact in these elections.
If the Congress was able to get rid of any state from Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh, then there would be positive atmosphere in favor of Rahul Gandhi and the attitude of the parties escaping the alliance would change.
Political analyst Alok Bhadauria says that elections are a game of concept and uncertainty. Rahul Gandhi’s big challenge in elections to these states is for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Because one of the three BJP-ruled states will also get a notion against the Center even in the public, which can prove dangerous in the 2019 elections. Therefore, he will face serious challenges in three major states.
Rahul Gandhi can get success when Congress leaves the habit of self-goal. Control over the statements. The Congress has an army of unrestrained rhetoric, it will be a big deal to keep his tongue in control of the party in this election. Otherwise, BJP will not be late in redemption.
Like in Madhya Pradesh, the BJP in Chhattisgarh stands as a mountain in front of Congress. For the last 15 years, there is a BJP government too. Although after the formation of the state in 2000, the Congress was in power, but after three successive elections, it had to face defeat.
The Congress had given a tough fight to the BJP in the 2013 assembly elections, but still had to face defeat. Of the total 90 seats in the state, the BJP won 49 seats, whereas the Congress had captured 39 seats. Apart from this, the Bahujan Samaj Party had won a seat, whereas the remaining one was seized by an independent candidate.
Chhattisgarh is in objection. The combination of Ajit Jogi and Mayawati will change the equation, but the BJP leader and Chief Minister Raman Singh is coming to the polls for the trust of his work. If the matter of Madhya Pradesh is concerned, then the hearts of Jyotiraditya Scindia, Digvijay Singh and Kamal Nath will be matched and the Congress will be able to make some changes.
