A significant milestone has been reached with the formation of a consortium led by Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), now partnering exclusively with Dynamatic Technologies Limited (DTL) for the AMCA project. This collaboration marks a pivotal step in India’s drive to design and manufacture a stealth-capable, supersonic fighter jet entirely from indigenous technology. The inclusion of the private sector, through DTL’s expertise, signals a transformative shift in India’s aerospace industry, traditionally dominated by government entities.

This strategic alliance will synergize DTL’s decades of experience in aerostructures and sub-systems with L&T’s formidable engineering capabilities and BEL’s advanced electronics mastery. The combined strength of these three entities aims to produce a fighter platform capable of challenging the best aerial assets globally. Officials highlight that this partnership not only focuses on building a next-generation fighter but also on reshaping India’s entire aerospace industrial landscape.
