The Government of Chhattisgarh has issued administrative approval of Rs 25 crore 15 lakh 17 thousand for the remodeling and lining work of the miners of Kharra Distributor Canal of Tandula Irrigation Project of Berla Development Block of Bemetara District. Administrative approval order has been issued from the Ministry of Water Resources Department, Mahanadi Bhavan. On completion of the works of this project, the regional farmers will get irrigation facility in 4478 hectare area.

Central government approved Rs 5 crore for synthetic football ground in Bastar (Jagdalpur)
On the initiative of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Sports and Youth Welfare Department has achieved another major achievement for the development of sports in Chhattisgarh. The Central Government has approved running track for players with synthetic turf football ground at Bastar District Headquarters, Jagdalpur at a cost of 5 crores. The creation of synthetic turf football ground in Jagdalpur will provide a golden opportunity for Bastar’s sports talent to progress.
It is worth mentioning that for the promotion of sports and development of sports infrastructure in the state, the vision of Khelbo-Jeetbo-Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel is being rapidly realized. Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare had sent a proposal to the Government of India to construct a synthetic football ground and running track at Jagdalpur Bastar under the Khelo India Scheme. With special efforts of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Government of India has issued administrative approval on 18 December 2020 for the construction of a running track for players with a synthetic football turf ground of Rs 5 crore in Jagdalpur.
For this, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Sports Minister Mr. Umesh Patel expressed their happiness and congratulated all the officers and employees of the Sports Department. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that more and more sports facilities will be made available for the players of Bastar region. The youth of Bastar will now take the lead in sports. -
Government’s unique initiative to promote sports with education
Being affected by the Naxalite area in the district Dantewada, the tribals here did not keep their children untouched from moving forward in any area. The children of remote areas are not far behind in reading and writing. The children here have proved this. The district administration appreciated his hard work and hard work in reading. Also encouraged the children to move forward. Looking at the bright future of the tribal children, the administration started a new initiative. Based on the acceptance received, the above material was made available for the students residing in the ashram hostels operating in the remote areas of the district so that the students do not face any inconvenience. 7605 students and 5575 girls residing in 130 ashrams / hostels and specialized institutions operating in the district, based on the administrative approval of Rs 20 lakh 63 thousand 5 hundred 66 for the sports department for the 130 departmental ashrams / hostels operating in the district and specific institutions. A total of 13180 students were provided sports material for their physical health and recreation work.

Mahadev Ghat will be the center of attraction: Kids play ground, fountain, foodpark and electrical furnishings will attract tourists
Twenty three million 41 thousand rupees will be spent for construction and development works to make Mahadev Ghat Annikat region attractive for tourists and visitors. A children’s garden with children’s play ground, fountain and light-furnishing decoration will be made in the Enicut enclave under Durg and Raipur district. Here the parking food zone, street light and afroach road with land scrapping on both sides will also be constructed. Similarly, a bridge is proposed to be constructed along with a suspension bridge connecting the two banks of the Kharun River.
Administrative approval has been granted to the Chief Engineer Mahanadi Project, Water Resources Department, Raipur, from the Mahanadi Bhavan, the Ministry of Water Resources Department of the state government, to carry out the development and construction works of Mahadev Ghat Enicut Zone.

Rs 40.78 crore approved for augmentation water supply schemes
The state government has issued a revised administrative approval of Rs 40 crore 78 lakh 8 thousand for two magnification water supply schemes. Ministry of Public Health Engineering Department from Mahanadi Bhawan, Rs 18 crore 94 lakh 10 thousand for the water magnification supply scheme of Nagar Panchayat Utai under Durg Durg district, Durg district and 21 crore 83 for Gobra Nawapara magnification water supply scheme of Abhanpur block of Raipur district. Administrative approval of Rs. 98 thousand has been issued.

Bhupesh Baghel will do Bhoomipujan to build Tennis Sport Academy in the capital Raipur on 19 November
On November 19, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will perform Bhumi Pujan for the construction of Tennis Sport Academy in the capital Raipur through video conferencing from his residence office. Tennis Sport Academy will be constructed on 4 acres of land adjoining the Cultural Building of Agricultural University Raipur. For its construction, the State Government’s Sports and Youth Welfare Department has issued a work order giving administrative approval of Rs 17 crore 75 lakh. A time frame of 15 months has been set for the construction of the academy.
Under Tennis Sport Academy, Admin Building, Hostel Building and Tennis Court will be constructed. On the ground floor of Admin Building, waiting room, reception, two changing rooms, two halls, parking area and gym in first floor, dining area, waiting area and second floor VIP building. The lodge and 3500 capacity pavilion will be built. Reception & Waiting Room, Superintendent Room, Office, VIP in the ground floor of Hostel Building. Room and parking, carrom room in first floor, table tennis room, kitchen, dining. In the second floor, 17 rooms, house keeping and in the third floor, 17 room house keeping will be constructed, as well as an International Tennis Court (Synthetic Court) and 5 Precatis Court (Synthetic Court). -
9.41 crores approved for two irrigation schemes
The government of Chhattisgarh has sanctioned 9 crore 41 lakh 27 thousand rupees for two irrigation schemes of Durg district. The works of approved irrigation schemes include strengthening of right bank canal from mile 26 to mile 44 of Tandul main canal of Patan block development in Durg district. B. 8 crore 84 lakh 27 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for M. work. Similarly, Rs 57 lakh has been sanctioned for reconstruction work of Patan IB and compound construction work in Patan, Angartat development block of Durg district. Administrative approval has been issued to the Chief Engineer Mahanadi Godavari Cachar Water Resources Department Raipur for carrying out the works of these irrigation schemes from the Ministry of Water Resources Department, Mahanadi Bhawan Nava Raipur.
