Because of this neither they were able to sell paddy in the lamps nor they were getting the benefit of any scheme of the government. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the survey work is being done on priority basis by the State Government in the villages of Abujhmad region.

In four villages of Orchha block, where the work of revenue survey has been completed, pattas have been distributed to the farmers. After getting the Masahati Patta, such farmers have now started getting the benefits of government schemes. Mr. Satyanarayan Usendi, a farmer of Kurusnar village of this area, sold paddy at support price for the first time this year in Lampas and got an amount of Rs. Along with this, the amount of the first installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has also been received. However, he has not yet checked his account and has not seen how much amount has come in his account.

Shri Satyanarayan Usendi on Saturday 19th June thanked Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for dedicating development works in Narayanpur district and during virtual discussion with Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on getting the lease and said that now he has started getting the benefits of the schemes of the government. He told that he was doing farming from the beginning. But in the Abujhmad area, paddy was not procured. This time he sold paddy in Lampas for the first time after getting the Masahati Patta. His Kisan Credit Card has been made. In the villages which have been surveyed, under the scheme of the government, land leveling and construction have been done in the fields of the farmers. The entire village has been fencing and borewells have also been installed in the farmers’ fields. Now along with distribution of seeds of various crops, guidance is also being given to the farmers from the Agriculture Department. He said that under the scheme of the Horticulture Department, a deep line has been laid in his field and a poly house has been built. In which they are cultivating barbatti. He said that he has benefited a lot from the scheme of the government. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked him how many farmers are cultivating in his village and how much land they have. Mr. Satyanarayan Usendi informed that about 40 farmers are doing farming in his village. Farmers have 4 acres to 8 acres of land. This time he sold 10 quintals of paddy for the first time. The Chief Minister asked Mr. Usendi to take advantage of the schemes of the government and inform others about the schemes. The state government has brought many schemes especially for the tribals, among them there are many schemes related to horticulture, fisheries, vegetable production, paddy production. More and more people should take advantage of these schemes.

It is noteworthy that survey is being done in the villages of Orchha and Narayanpur block of Narayanpur district. Survey could not be conducted in 237 villages of Orchha and 9 villages of Narayanpur block. The survey of these villages is being done by the state government on priority.
