Honda Cars India has announced updates for its Elevate mid-size SUV, introducing new interior color options, improved styling elements, and special packages ahead of the festive season. The Honda Elevate ZX grade now features a new Ivory interior theme, including Ivory leatherette seats, Ivory soft-touch inserts on the door linings, and a redesigned instrument panel. This new Ivory upholstery joins the existing Tan and Black (in the Black Edition) cabin themes. Customers can also opt for a new 360-degree surround vision camera and 7-color ambient lighting. On the exterior, the Elevate ZX trim comes with a new Alpha-Bold Plus grille option. The Honda Elevate V and VX trims replace the Shadow Beige finish with new black fabric upholstery. These trims, along with the ZX trims, feature Ivory soft-touch inserts on the door lining and dashboard, providing a dual-tone interior look. Additionally, customers can choose the Alpha-Bold Plus grille as an accessory for these trims. All three trims – V, VX, and ZX – are now available in the new Crystal Black Pearl exterior color. The ZX Ivory grade starts at a price of ₹15.51 lakh, while the new interior-equipped V and VX grades are priced at approximately ₹12.39 lakh and ₹14.13 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The Honda Elevate Black Edition and Signature Black Edition also receive cosmetic and feature upgrades. The Black Edition boasts an all-black exterior with chrome and silver accents while retaining the standard grille. The Signature Black Edition now features 7-color rhythmic ambient lighting and the new Alpha-Bold Plus grille, along with completely blacked-out elements. Inside, both the Black and Signature Black Editions include black leatherette seats with black stitching, leatherette-wrapped black soft-touch door pads and armrests, and an all-black dashboard. The Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine, available with two gearbox options: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic.

Honda’s recent launches, including the new Rebel 500, signal an aggressive push into various motorcycle segments. The 2025 XL750 Transalp is slated for release, featuring an updated engine, retuned suspension, a refreshed color scheme, and a revised front fascia. It also boasts a TFT console and other enhancements. The Transalp retains its 755cc engine, now optimized for improved low-end and mid-range performance, thanks to air intake modifications. Honda claims handling and comfort improvements due to damping adjustments. Consequently, the Transalp is now 2kg heavier, with a kerb weight of 210kg.

Suzuki recently launched its V-Strom 800DE in India, with pricing comparable to the 2024 version. It offers similar features and aims to provide a consistent touring experience. New color options include Pearl Tech White with blue-tinted spoked rims, Champion Yellow No. 2 with black body panels and blue rims, and Glass Sparkle Black.

The V-Strom 800DE is powered by a 776cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine generating 83 bhp and 78 Nm of torque, paired with an electronic throttle, a bidirectional quick shifter, and a six-speed gearbox. Features include a Low RPM Assist and a Suzuki Easy Start system. A comparative table highlights key specifications.
