In Chhattisgarh, during the last 24 hours, 1886 new people have confirmed corona virus infection and the number of people infected with this virus in the state has increased to 9,73,349. Health department officials gave this information.
On Tuesday, 851 people have been discharged from hospitals after becoming infection free in the state, while 3620 people have completed their home isolation. 29 corona virus infected patients have died in the state.
State Health Department officials said on Tuesday that 1886 cases of infection have been reported today. These include 82 from Raipur district, 46 from Durg, 32 from Rajnandgaon, 43 from Balod, 29 from Bemetara, 18 from Kabirdham, 70 from Dhamtari, 103 from Balodabazar, 54 from Mahasamund, 25 from Gariaband, 37 from Bilaspur, 177 from Raigarh, 83 from Korba, 125 from Janjgir Champa, 39 from Mungeli, 21 from Gaurela Pendra Marwahi, 126 from Surguja, 77 from Korea, 126 from Surajpur, 98 from Balrampur, 117 from Jashpur, 106 from Bastar, 70 from Kondagaon, 52 from Dantewada , 55 from Sukma, 21 from Kanker, 17 from Narayanpur and 36 from Bijapur and one case from other state.
He said that so far 9,73,349 people have been confirmed infected in Chhattisgarh and out of them 9,27,145 patients have become infection free. He said that 33,127 patients are under treatment in the state and 13,077 people infected with the virus have died in the state.
In Raipur district of the state, maximum number of 1,55,979 people have been confirmed to have corona virus infection. Corona virus infected 3101 people have died in the district.
