The Chairman of the State Minorities Commission (Cabinet Minister) Mr. Mahendra Chhabra will be on a stay in Dhamtari district on February 10. Shri Chhabra will leave Raipur at 10 am and reach the rest house at Dhamtari at 11:30 am. They will attend the review meeting held at the Collectorate at 12 noon. Mr. Chhabra will attend the District Minorities Seminar at 3 pm. After this, he will leave for Raipur at four in the evening.

Practical exam of 10th-12th board will start from 10 February
As soon as Corona’s havoc subsided, the government has begun to conduct stalled examinations of children. In this episode, the dates of practical examinations of 10th-12th board classes have come. Practical for board examinations will be started in the state from February 10. Students will be made practical by making a batch so that there is not much crowd. Selection for Karate and Judo training on 10 February

Applications invited under Chief Minister’s collective girl marriage scheme till 10 February
Mass marriage is organized every year by the Department of Women and Child Development under the Chief Minister’s collective girl marriage scheme. In this order, applications for registration from interested and eligible bride and groom have been invited till February 10. District Program Officer Women and Child Development Mr. M.D. Nayak said that under the scheme, the girl should be from below poverty line (BPL) living family, along with priority ration card holders. More than one girl can be married under the scheme. He told that the age of the girl should be 18 as on January 1, 2021 and the age of the groom should be more than 21 years. It is mandatory for the girl and her family to be residents of Chhattisgarh state. Only the girl who is involved in a mass marriage will be entitled to the above assistance. Girls will be eligible to avail benefits under the Chhattisgarh Poor Girl Girls Group Marriage Scheme-2005 or any one of the mass marriage schemes operated by the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Development Department. The District Program Officer has appealed to the interested and eligible bride and groom of the marriage by contacting the Anganwadi worker or sector supervisor of the area and getting the information about the scheme and registering.
