  • Demonstration of farmers of Chhattisgarh on Indus border continues, today 5 farmers will go on hunger strike

    Along with farmers from all over the country, farmers of Chhattisgarh are also strong in opposition to agricultural laws. The farmers of Chhattisgarh took out a rally on the Indus border and demonstrated. On Thursday, on the 57th day of the agitation, 5 farmers of Chhattisgarh will go on hunger strike. Those who went on hunger strike include Tejaram Rebel, Saura Yadav, Madan Lal Sahu, Radheshyam Sharma, Venugopal. Demonstrations are continuing in various borders of Delhi to demand the repeal of the Agricultural Law and the implementation of the Minimum Support Price Guarantee Act. Farmers from Chhattisgarh protested by taking out a rally at the Indus border in support of the peasant movement. The rally was led by Tejram Rebel, secretary of All India Revolutionary Kisan Sabha and board member of Chhattisgarh Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh, Madan Lal Sahu, vice president of All India Revolutionary Kisan Sabha Chhattisgarh, Saura Yadav, convenor of Tribal Bharat Mahasabha, convenor of Revolutionary Cultural Forum Tuhin Deb, The organizers of the Krantikari Vidyarthi Sangathan were Tikesh Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Venugopal of the Krantikar Naujawan Bharat Sabha, Urmila, the vice-president of the Krantikari Mahila Sangathan, and social activist Radheshyam Sharma. Convenor of Tribal India Mahasabha, Saura Yadav said that the struggle of the food providers of the country is going to be completed in two months. So far 131 farmers have been martyred, the demand of farmers is very clear. Three are the withdrawal of agricultural legislation and the enactment of legislation on MSP.
