Naiduniya Representative, Bhopal: Due to low humidity in the atmosphere, the series of heavy rains in the state has stopped for the time being. However, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall in the districts of Indore, Ujjain, Rewa, Shahdol division on Thursday. Light rain with thunder and lightning may occur in the remaining areas.
According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, currently a deep low pressure area is formed around Bhuj in Gujarat. The monsoon trough is formed from the weather system formed in Bhuj to the Bay of Bengal via Udaipur, Shivpuri, Churk, Daltonganj, Digha. A cyclone has formed in the upper part of the air over south-eastern Uttar Pradesh.
The east-west trough is extending from this cyclone to the Bay of Bengal. An offshore trough is present from South Gujarat to Kerala. A new western disturbance is formed around Pakistan. Apart from these, a low pressure area is formed in the Bay of Bengal.

Former senior meteorologist of Meteorological Centre, Ajay Shukla said that due to the moisture received due to the effect of these weather systems formed at different places, it is raining at some places in the state. On Thursday, moderate level rainfall may occur in the districts of Shahdol, Rewa, Indore, Ujjain division. Light rain may occur at some places in the remaining areas.
On the other hand, the cyclone formed in the Bay of Bengal may turn into a low pressure area in Gujarat. After two days, it will reach northern Andhra Pradesh and southern Odisha. Due to its effect, intermittent rain may start in the state once again from Friday.

On Wednesday, due to the effect of various weather systems, many parts of the state received rainfall from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. During this period, 25 mm rainfall was recorded in Umaria, 9 in Khargone, 2 in Khandwa, 1 in Dhar, 0.4 in Ujjain and 0.2 mm in Indore.
